What a finish! A nail-biter to the very end. Well played to both teams, but in the end, there can be only one winner. Lightning Hawks CC will breathe a sigh of relief after today's match and will be hoping to be more authoritative in the next one. The bowlers were probably licking their lips when they saw the pitch today - the pitch was very sporting, to say the least. Swing benefited greatly throughout the day. Lightning Hawks CC was expected to win this game and they duly obliged. It's been a good team performance all things considered.

last_knight I have some methods in mind myself :afridi however, as with the art of psychology, if everyone catches on, there is little that can be done

There is a flaw. What if you start with modern and others start from Old.

I was already devising some strategies :mv I am sure others will also, some seasoned drafters participating.

If I were number 10 with double pick, I would pick Imran and Viv, forcing everyone to skip 1940-1970 players, including Sobers.

You need to set a window of 15 years either side of preceding pick. If 1 pick 1920 player, 2 will have to pick 1905-1935 Player. If 2 pick 1915 player, 3 will have to pick 1900-1930.

Otherwise number 10 can exploit this.

I think it just has to be chronological within the team. Other posters don’t follow your chronology I believe

with time window, you can create headaches for others with your pick.

if its within team and If other members won't follow the preceding pick, then number 10 can win it essily with double pick from 70s,80s (Imran/Viv/Marshall/Wasim). Then to stop him from getting away, other members will have to skip pre 70s players otherwise #10 can pick Sachin/Warne/Murali in round 3-4. Good luck beating him then.

Thinking one step even further, one can bide their time in the 1920’s—70’s and let everyone skip to the modern era when they see someone stealing all the picks, then end up dividing between themselves :afridi

Great win boys! :lh

Was hoping we could sneak in a bonus point after the total we put up, but very pleased nonetheless to get a vital bonus point here after losing the toss versus table toppers. Defended comfortably in the end, keeping the RRR in check throughout.

I'll also reveal to everyone here that the MOTM was actually given to me but I donated it to the youngster andy0204 as a goodwill gesture, and to motivate him after he wasn't happy with batting at #4 :usman
