MSM makes it seem the Russians are collapsing - this is quite a naive perhaps even stupid view. The Russians are retreating to save their men. The Ukranians on the other hand are sending them men to die in huge numbers to gain these territories.

At this rate by Christmas they might have nothing left apart from Crimea.

He makes an interesting point - he thinks that a desperate Putin might deliberately target Ukrainian supply lines in Poland.

NATO would then use overwhelming conventional force to destroy Russia’s military forces from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok.

But Putin would distract Russian public opinion from noticing that he had lost a war to Ukraine. And he might be able to remain in power just like Saddam Hussein did from 1991 to 2003, even though he had lost the Gulf War.
