Stuck at work and had this wild notion of a sickie this morning .... thank god !!
 
damn! i cant even concentrate on stick cricket tonite...just scored 236 =(
bad feeling i'm having ppl...any idea ?

this pitch is more bowler friendly :|
 
If these guys can stick it out till the 30 th over, we can get a decent score- 220 is possible as the pitch seems to have settled a lot and Inzi is starting to get it in the middle of his bat

SA will ask for the heavy roller and pitch wont do anthing to restrict them
 
i just checked the score now and Im not suprised one bit. Again no suprise that akmal failed and no suprise that Mohd Yousuf has to save our skins.

any kind of target will be tough

we've got our best batsmen of teh last 10 years at teh crease and tehy're no where near playin comfortably
 
by the time 2nd innings comes around this pitc would have settled alot more

face it guys
unless 3 of our bowlers come up with a miracle there is no hope

but its unlikely that was all that was said - like Jakkers was suggesting
 
It seems Inzi is batting well ... is middling the ball, and is reading the conditions well. It's a good strategy if he's to keep most of the strike. Both these batsmen CANNOT take risks, but one of them has to start.
 
I strongly feel that Akmal opening is wrong in SA and they should have tried Hafeez and Malik at 2 and 3 with Inzi & Younis resting for a match each .
Nazir is OK at 1 but needs to be given a licence to go from the begining, no half-cock shots for him.

they should have given rest to him...he is the only batsman hasn't been rested since he came in the team i think....or hardly any rest

Yousuf has commited the same mistake again- guided it to Boucher off the face of his bat-- Cannot believe that- he has to learn from his mistakes- looked in no trouble at all throughout!!
 
They need to pick up the scoring rate. If they can get to 80+ in the 30 over and not lose any wickets, they can post a score of 200+.
 
Inzi, Malik, Razzaq & Azhar will not make 100 between them, this match is over..
 
30 overs to go - again 200 is the target after Yousuf has gone-looked like 220 earlier when he was playing so fluently.
 
how many times has yousaf got caught while trying to place it fine to 3rd man. ive lost count
 
Gilchrist in the other game just got bowled by Plunkett..

Rehman , Rana & Asif will get a 50 each then :D
Seriously though 200 is possible if they play sensibly and are just a bit lucky as well. ;-)
 
Well God knows why this team is still at numbr 3 in the ODI rankings


they certainly cant even face a half a decent bowling line up
 
this will be a good test for inzi's skill levels - they are bowling a stragling line to him

lets see how the big man adapts
