Sarfraz winning the CT is greater than anything Misbah achieved which Sarfraz was also responsible for, such as his great feat of drawing series in the UAE

Both did well during their time as Pakistan team captain.
Both did great things in their own way.
Its always funny seeing people critisize misbahs test captaincy and give its credit to sarfraz aswell when sarfraz was the one who ended up ending pakistans winning streak in uae in test

He didn’t do anything special with his captaincy, even you would have known to exploit those conditions with prime Ajmal & Rehman who deserve the bulk of the credit really. With the 1-1 draw, Sarfraz had arguably his best series with the gloves & we only drew that largely thanks to the freakish knock of Younis Khan, if he hit form earlier, Pakistan could have won, but Misbah had Younis & rain during India/WI to thank for the no.1 ranking; thank you Misbah though for your special efforts.

Was an average Cricketer, but a great captain
So he didnt do anything special, yet when sarfraz became captain of the test team, he lost the test series in UAE and ended Pakistans undefeated record.
Misbah was undefeated, while Sarfraz lost in his first tour.
But hey, what Misbah did wasnt special...

He really should’ve been captain after misbah in 2015 WC. He was at the peak of his batting (classic waqar younis kept him out for a few matches in 2015 WC also) instead misbah preferred his precious azhar Ali.
