Don Bradmanwhenever playing against Zimbabwe, West Indies, Ireland or Kenya.
A total failure against the top sides or whenever the going gets tough.
These are the kind of players our people cheer now, clearly we're the minnow mentality country now. Below Bangladesh.
It shocks me how you can defend professor then bash Malik. Doesn't matter if professor plays pace better when he too has failed against quality pace and in tournaments. Plus he has feasted on minnows more than an recent pak player, why do you think he is so against playing down the order?
Both Malik and Professor have feasted on weak opposition and minnows.
On potential you'd back Hafeez to score more against opposition with good bowling attacks, especially those bowling at above 137kph.
There's very little separating the two, I don't think Hafeez is far better, just slightly.
Both need to be booted out. It's the Malik brigade who portrays him as our batting savior and the premier bat that we have.
We will be remain minnows forever as long as Malik and Hafeez are cheered by the fans and the board.
Looks like he gets hate even when he performs. What was he supposed to do instead? Get out for ZERO?

You should know by now that Pakistani fans will never be pleased. :yshah1
And Dhoni does not have a single century outside Asia. Even Malik has done it at #5 now.

Shoaib Malik is a Pakistan ATG in LOIs.
He wishes.
Its expected given we've invested in Malik for 18 years. If only some of our youngsters had 18 years to prove their worth.
Let's see how Malik fares against TOP teams in the Champions Trophy, where he failed dismally in 2013.
Even Hafeez looks a semi-competent bat against our punching bags like West Indies, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.
Yes Malik performed in Cardiff v England but that was a dead rubber - where was he when the series was live ? Where was Malik in the Australia series ? He did his usual of doing just barely enough to keep his place, flattering to deceive, scoring one 40 at the MCG and failed in the rest.
I'll give him credit for maintaining his fitness and attitude. But if Hafeez and Malik are our "senior pros" in this team then god help us given their history of failure in pressure situations.
Malik was in Melbourne and winning the ODI match (not so called dead rubber).
He avg 68 in that series.
But Cricket is a team sport.
So Malik played 4 ODIs in Australia and performed in 1.
I'd expect better than 1 in 4 success from one of the senior pros who's been playing for 18 years.
I wonder who was playing as our number 5 in ODIs for the longest time in the past decade![]()

Anyone against Malik's inclusion at the moment is fried and does not support Pakistan, rather his favourites.
Malik is here to stay until the 2019 WC, after which he should (and probably will) hang his boots after being a very decent servant of the nation.
Well done, Shobby.
