Does anyone know what the hell is going on with Misbah picking failures like Malik and Hafeez. How does this make any sense, what will these perennial failures bring at the age of 40+, that they have failed to do for the last 2 decades

It's something Misbah once said in 2012: "Pakistan mein koi talent nahi raha". He probably still believes in it and the reason he keeps opting for the oldies.

Ofcourse not. I would rather lose with young batsmen than just go on without any future planning. But it's irrelevant what we think as they will keep selecting seniors to save themselves from media criticism

That is what I said that Shoaib is well past his sell by date. Could be that he doesn't get a game though if our youngsters perform for once.
