a bit of a trivial question, but given the significance of the 100 mph mark in fast bowling to me it makes sense to use mph.

also arguably better deliniation of bowling speeds, sub 80 is a medium pacer, 80 to 90 is a medium fast bowler, 90+ is a geuine fast bowler.

given the significance of the 160 kph mark in fast bowling to me it makes sense to use kph.
also arguably better delineation of bowling speeds, sub 135 is a medium pacer, 135 to 145 is a medium fast bowler, 145+ is a genuine fast bowler.

150+ average are your fastest "express" bowlers (Akhtar, Lee, Tait, Ferguson)
142+ average are regular fast bowlers. (Starc, Rabada, Gabriel)
135+ average is fast medium. (Boult, Shami, Amir)
127+ average is medium fast. (Abbas, Philander, Brathwaite)

Idk where but I read this on the internet.

No because none of top 10 cricket countries use the imperial system over the metric system.

Trivial issue, I don't think anyone cares about it enough to warrant a change.

There has not been a sinlge bowler in cricket history who bowls with an avg speed of 150k+ , even Akhtar , Lee and Tait were 145k+ avg bowlers at best.

World has already phased into metric system. Does tmake sense to measure speed in miles, in international cricket.

I know what 90 mph means. I have little idea what 150 kph means.

Kph is better to me. When I see mph I have to go on Google to convert it to kph. But this is a small issue.

Yes, in their peak, most balls would be between 147-152. With the odd mid-150s ball.
