Should Haris Sohail and Mohammad Hafeez swap places in the Pakistan batting order?

Just a thought...As we saw how Hafeez and Babar slowed the run-rate in the middle overs.. Haris can be the aggressor here and Babar can assist him with the run flow as we saw him today..

Fakhar and Imam : Aggressor & Stabilizer
Haris and Babar : Same as above
Hafeez and Sarfraz : Same as above
Imad and Shadab: Same as above
Wahab and Amir : Same as above
Shaheen or Hasnain

Preferably, Hafeez should have been sent out to pasture before this WC. He's here now so we have to fit him somewhere.

I would suggest keeping the batting order the same. This new role for Haris might work for him. I would bring him before Hafeez if Pakistan losing 3 wickets early on or if the conditions are seamer friendly.

Depends on match situation tbh.... if two early wickets fall then Harry should come out. He can absorb pressure and can actually play fast bowling. However, if openers give a good platform then I'd like to see Prof come out. If he gets going he will launch Pak to unbeatable score.

Hafeez's ego won't allow. He already isn't happy with the fact that he is not opening the batting.

Haris would even outperform Imam opening the batting. That guy oozes class against proper fast bowling. The only guy who handles the moving ball well. Can't believe he is 30 already.

Yeah it sucks he's already 30. I hope he and we cash in on his 4 to 5 years, Such a shame a player like him won't play enough matches to do justice to his talent. We have Mr shameless hafeez and Malik play a combined total of 500 plus may not even play more then 100. I just hope he stays injury free. Such a pleasure to watch him when in full flow.

Hafeez blows hot and cold, no guarantee he will score at any position. Hafeez has to play his natural attacking game and must not be bogged down.

Apart from imad, we don't have any hitters down the order. Imad is susceptible to bouncers!
We are relying on wahab as well, which is a sign of desperation!
Now that asif ali, malik and hasan ali, all hopefully have played their last game for pak(hasan ali can make a come back if he regains his form, but only after the wc)!
I think hafeez should be given that role!
Hafeez at 5, imad at 6, safi art 7, shadab at 8 and wahab at 9!
Amir and shaheen/husnain at 10 and 11.
With imam, fakhar, babar and haris at 1, 2, 3 and 4!
Looks like a very good team to me and the team i wanted right at the start of the wc!

I would replace Hafeez with Asif Ali now. Asif Ali is hit and miss , but still can hit big easily, can easily score 20 to 30 per match. Hafeez's bowling is useless as well nowadays.
