Asad Umar in many interviews and when he resigned from PTI criticized the parties approach of refusing to engage with its political opponents i.e. PML N, PPP and other smaller parties.

Fawad Chaudry in many interviews has criticized the present PTI leadership filled with lawyers i.e. they are failing in getting IK released and neither have they looked to build alliances with other political parties in the country.

Let's be honest, if it hadn't been for PTI pandering to Maulana Fazzlur Rehman, the present amendments would have been a lot worse. But it does beg the question whether PTI by refusing to talk and engage with the other political parties in the country, did it miss the boat?

IK with his approach mein choro se, dakkuooan se kabhi baat nahin karoon ga, he allowed the PML N and PPP to unite against him. PPP had apparently reached out to PTI many times and had even offered PTI after the 2024 elections to strike a deal to form government in the centre.

Parliamentary democracy requires you to build alliances and to talk to your political adversaries regardless of how you feel about them.

Maybe its time for IK and PTI to rethink their approach.

You can't reach out to criminals in any circumstance and whether the tide turns PTI way or not as far as power is concerned, only time will tell, but it cannot be seen with NS or the Khusra both of whom are reviled by the public.

Absolutely. Politics is all about making compromises and moving forward while making slow progress. Democracy doesn't allow for big radical changes that often. Its small change made with consensus over a period of time that strengthens the country, institutions and move country forward.

Have a chat or negotiate with Noon or PPP who have zero mandate? The public doesn’t vote for them. They are irrelevant. The real goon is the COAS. IK has repeatedly said he is ready to negotiate with the military only on the stolen mandate and fresh and free elections.

Noon and PPP are the mere puppets who are on their last legs. They are on their way out and will die. The old corrupt babays are playing their last inning.

IK’s role was to destroy or weaken the status quo which he has done successfully. Somebody else will take the torch and implement the new system. The power will gradually drift away from the military. It’s a long term struggle but eventually the change will occur. Let the nature do its work.

PTI only made one blunder and that was resigning from Punjab and KPK, they were ruling 12.5+4.5= 17crore people of the country. Infact a veteran like Elahi also warned IK of the severe consequences but his wisdom was hostage with leeches like Fawad etc.

What PTI gained from that till now , zilch a compromised KPK govt and not to list down the atrocities with the party and members.

But is it wise to let the Sharif's, Bhutto and a Shatir Criminal like Zardari a field day where they talk to all stakeholders.

PML N and the Sharif's only got a small whiff in power in 2022 and they made the most of it by reneging on their deal with Bajwa i.e. to give him another long extension and they managed to appoint their own handpicked COAS who hated IK and PTI with even more vengeance and who has now transferred the Pak Army into Punjab police to be used against their political adversaries and to eliminate all PTI sympathies within the army ranks.

Lol at Noon and PPP being mere puppets on their last legs, these parties know how to survive, they know real power doesn't lie on the streets or the institutions but by reaching out to the local and international establishment which they have done successfully.

At the time it was an unwise decision but the governments were going to go within 4-5 months and the PDM alongside the establishment had already decided PTI had no more political space in the country for the forseeable future.

IK's mistake was to antagonize the foreign powers like USA, Saudi Arabia, EU. These countries have a massive influence on the Pakistani establishment and can influence their decisions like swatting a fly.

So let's look at the antagonism that You talk about. The Americans just wanted us to be their slaves and do as told( which was to let Ind be given a free hand with China, us not even talking about Kashmir and give them bases for attacking Afghanistan), the Saudis wanted the same but also recognise Isreal because Kaptaan had Capital in the Muslim World( the Abrahamic Accords) and the EU wanted us to give unquestionably support to Ukraine against Russia by selling weapons and not buy Russian oil, while Ind told them to get lost. The failure to get cheap oil has totally destroyed our economy

The actual game was set for interim setup, when PTI resigned from 2 provinces they lost any minimal influence in power game. as the famous saying is "Keep your friends close, keep your enemies closer"

Committee meeting to nominate next CJP put off for tonight as SIC skips proceedings

A meeting of the newly appointed Special Parliamentary Committee (SPC) to nominate the next chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) from among the three most senior Supreme Court judges has been delayed for later tonight after members associated with the PTI-Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) skipped proceedings.

CJP Qazi Faez Isa is set to retire as the top judge on October 25. Senior puisne judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah was previously set to be the next CJP under the seniority principle.

However, the newly enacted 26th Constitutional Amendment has brought numerous changes pertaining to the judiciary, among which is the process of appointing the CJP.

Under amendments to clause 3 of Article 175A, instead of the president appointing the “most senior judge of the Supreme Court” as the CJP, the top judge will now be “appointed on the recommendation of the Special Parliamentary Committee from amongst the three most senior” SC judges.

Imran was launched to wipe out all political forces from the country.

The typical “chor daaku” slogan was meant to sow deep hatred against civilian power among the common people.

Imran and PTI took the bait. They now would always align with non political forces rather than talking to civilians.

Also mind you, when they are instructed or it’s in their interest, they start their love relationship with “chor daaku” too - eg PMLQ and now Fazlu, who they used to abuse day and night.

IK succeeded in destroying the mafia as a legitimate political force and the boots decided otherwise. IK won and history will show it.

It would have made no difference. The boots and their muppets were scared of its popularity. The boots always wanted to stay in power and this was the 1st time since Bhutto they feared losing control.

KPK is largely irrelevant sorry to say.

But Punjab? It's the centre of the establishment and contains all the main establishment tools. And they let it go voluntarily.

If they had held on to Punjab Imran would not be in jail and Nawaz would still be in London.
