If pti mnas resign tomr, all 140 na seats held by them would be empty. To bring mnas on those seats, by elections would be held where the winning mna will get that mna seat for 1.5 years.

General elections wont be happening.

Now, pti is in opposition. There are chances based on the 30% popular vote, they could lose the seats in by election. If they lose the by election, the pdm govt will have fulk control with no opposition and they can run havoc.

I believe that an opposition needs to exist to keep the govt in check in a proper demlcratic system.

Should pti risk it all or not? 140 seats could mean they can lose influence, they are not gonna win any more influence.

Imran khans basic problem is his ego as he doesnt want to accept Shebaz Shareef as Pm. Should he set aside that ego because by election does no good to pti

This would be the greatest own goal by a mile! No way PTI is winning all 140 seats again. If they go ahead, and then lose a significant number of seats, the opposition would do whatever they want in the parliament. This is the perfect plan for the opposition.

The evidence is there , the corrupt system including the courts prevents the evidence from being released. What have they got to hide?

It’s a win win for IK because if he shows the evidence we saw who those traitors are, if they don’t allow us to see it the vast majority will know they have something big to hide. The thinking in the senior PTI circles about the benefit of resignations from the assembly is that if PTI remains in the assembly the PDM will stay united against it but without PTI in the assembly, PDM cracks and resentments with each other will start to open because they no longer have a common cause anymore.
