Absolute garbage captaincy from Shadab

Should never have taken off Rauf after his first brilliant over

Musa just hitting the pitch hard with no plan. Looks like a Sami with slightly slower speeds. He needs to work on variety and slower balls . Naseem shah will lesser experience has more variety than him

I can’t believe Misbah gave Musa a Test debut in Australia

He also gave Imam ul Haq an T20i debut to Imam ul Haq!

He also gave us the gift of Danish Aziz!

The same Misbah gave Rizwan 1 million chances to find some form as a T20 opener, a decision that has totally unbalanced our batting line up and deprived us fans from the opening combination of Fakhar+Sharjeel

Saud is such a classy batsman to watch. It is a shame that Azhar Ali is playing instead of him in test cricket. He will be do well in ODIs if he can add six hitting ability to his game.

Why did Nawaz not bowl today?

Musa has bowled 3 overs though

Nasir Nawaz is some striker and has decent basics as well. Looking in good touch today.

Finally an exciting opener!

Nasir Nawaz fastest bat speed since Imran Nazir as a right handed opener!

Yes rightly identified, his bat speed is really impressive.

Dahani vs Haider was box office stuff till it lasted. Crowd was involved as well. Dahani won this one after a beautiful boundary from Haider.

And after this game is must be noted, Haider still needs more seasoning in domestic cricket before a recall is deserved.

But what is peculiar though is the fact that Imad Wasim has come up the order when he probably doesn't warrant it. Mohammad Nawaz should have come up, since he is in good form.

Don’t understand why Nawaz is being mistreated in this match

He didn’t bowl and now he has been demoted with the bat even though he has scored 2 back to back 50s

Seniority maybe?

He is competing with Imad Wasim.

He's a man in form and imo, should be playing in the T20 WC.

Really dumb of selectors to put Nawaz and imad both in same team when shadab is also there. They could have easily put one of them in Balochistan or other teams. Nawaz bowling zero overs made no sense. Especially when Musa was getting hit all over.

Its a genetic mentality. If you can't beat someone, drag them down.

Sindh defeat Northern by 3 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern Method due to rain forcing a break in play after 7.3 overs of the Northern innings.

Nasir lead to the defeat of him team. Had he stayed there and not been out, his team would had won by 7 runs.

Very foolish cricketer with 0 game sense. Dont need such dumb players at international level

GFS Sindh retained their top position on the points table in the National T20 2021-22 with a three-run win via the DLS method against Northern in the 14th match of the tournament played at the Pindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi on Friday night.

Heavy rain brought a halt with Northern 62 for three (7.3 overs) in their 177-run chase. After the rain ended, a wet outfield forced the match to be abandoned.

The ball before the rain interruption earned Sindh Nasir Nawaz’s wicket that turned the DLS equation in their favour. Northern needed to be 66 for three to earn victory on the DLS method at that stage of the match. Nasir was caught attempting a big shot off Danish Aziz.

Nasir top-scored for Northern with 27 off 19 balls (three fours, one six). Haider Ali scored 11 while Imad Wasim was batting on 13 when the rain arrived.

Sindh now have eight points from five games while Northern have accumulated six from five matches.

Earlier, Northern won the toss and opted to bowl. Sindh lost Shan Masood for one in the second over of the innings. Sharjeel Khan took the attack to the Northern bowlers in a 52-run stand for the second-wicket with Khurram Manzoor (15).

After Khurram’s departure, Sharjeel continued his onslaught, the left-hander played a series of attacking shots and only a superb diving catch at the mid-wicket fence by Haris ended his 64-run innings. Sharjeel faced 43 balls and hit 10 fours and two sixes.

Saud Shakeel made another useful contribution before being dismissed by Salman Irshad for 28. Salman then got rid of Anwar Ali (13) with another slower ball. Captain Sarfaraz Ahmed chipped in with a useful 26 off 18 balls (two fours).

Rumman Raees ended the Sindh innings on a high with two big sixes (one each in the penultimate and the final over). For Northern Salman, Shadab Khan and Musa Khan took two wickets apiece. Haris who bowled a fiery opening spell gave away only 22 runs in his four overs.

Scores in Brief:

GFS Sindh beat Northern by three runs on DLS method
