In some ways, this was even worse than yesterday's chase because Bangladesh were winning this match till the start of the 17th over. And unlike Pak batters, Hridoy and Mahmudullah had actually gotten the measure of the pitch.

In other ways it wasn't because it's Bangladesh playing against South Africa.

He's actually not that bad. Probably one of Bangladesh's best players and someone who has found new form since returning to their team. Unlike Chacha he won them their version of India v Pakistan too a couple of days ago. But this was a thoroughly disappointing performance from a player of his experience.

Bangladesh's pace attack is the best it has been for as long as I can remember. Granted, that's still not particularly great. But Taskin, Tanzim and Mustafizur is not a bad pace attack at all. Taskin has improved leaps and bounds from the bowler he used to be. Tanzim has potential and Mustafizur is obviously their best bowler and someone who could walk into many top level T20 teams. Working with Allan Donald seems to have done these guys a world of good.

It's really hard to hit sixes on this pitch and ground. Specially at the death. That innings of David Miller where he finished off with a few sixes should be rated highly.

That 50+ was worth a 100 in my opinion.

Was quite disappointed with Mahmdullah not putting the full toss away for a 6! Should have hit it on the leg side, juicy full toss!
