With Amir its fitness and lack of speed. So what if Shadab had 2/3 ordinary games he did ok in the test and some ODIs in this test, rain impacted his bowling in one ODI. Shadab can bat ok as well and saves a lot of runs with fielding and even gets run outs.

Amir has lost his mojo. He doesn't take wickets like he did against India so the Impact is missing from your strike bowler. I'm sure Pakistan has tradition of having impact bowlers and he is not one.

Shadab is a bits and piece cricketer , when you have imad who is doing that job better than shadab in t20 then why would you want more of such players.
His 3 sixes against phelukwayo just now is one off incident and not usual stuff

But where is the Amir impact that was expected of him.
When he made his comeback , everyone celebrated him as the ATG Amir , but now he is not even considered the best in Pakistan

I would replace Amir Yamin for Faheem Ashraf in WC squad. Yamin is better with the bat than him and also bowls new ball quite well.

I truly believe he's the closest we've got to Razzaq right now.
