Great result for the kiwis . New Zealand are capable of adapting to any surface with a long batting line up and a good mix of bowlers. I think they're dark horses for the tournament.

Stephen Fleming played a great knock today. He kept the runs flowing and stayed to the very end with the tail. Then to add to that his bowling changes were brilliant holding back the two spinners until the end.

The wickets in this tourney have been a joke, such sub standard surfaces would be a joke @ club level.

I don't believe all this crap about the CT not being a major tourney. It is, in essence, a mini-world cup. The 8 best teams are participating in a tourney.

Only bigger tournament is the WC.
