Pakistan got lucky when they beat India. Nawaz played the best innings of the tournament. It was an absolute blinder.

Most of the fans here had their heads in the clouds and getting smug about Rizwan's runs. The reality is he got lucky. Nawaz saved his skin.

Pakistani batsmen who play a similar amount of deliveries mostly operate at 90 and then after scoring 50 end their innings at 100-110 and get out immediately after the milestone

Too many players including the captain have operated and tolerated a very soft culture in this team for too long.

A tough task master like Hayden is needed to really give the players a tough time and make ruthless changes.
