Maharoof batted well. SL has put up a huge total. It is beyond India's grasp. It is going to be 4-1 India.

Well a couple of days ago i said that dhoni has been very lucky winning the toss. Today mahela won it and SL piled up 320. There is no extravagant preassure in the 1st innings. Even though Inida chase this down SL have finally put up a good score.

Bad newz for pakistan: stupid lankans have found back their form just couple of weeks before the test series huh

Trying saffers gimmick, saying its over before you've lost so its a no loose situation for you. If India win great go India, if India loose I told you so. India can still win this.

With mendis and murali 320 is going to be a difficult chase. 290 would have been a comfortable chase.

^ what do you mean with M&M 320 is going to be difficult? didn't you guys just score like 360 that day?

IronMan i have seen most of your posts, why do you always give up on Indian team easily. They will lose, India can score 320 and track is flat.

If India win today's match I will say India really deserves number two place and soon they will capture the numero uno in Ranking, cause other days Srilanka was chasing the target and lost but this time India should prove us that first batting was not the matter here for Indians.

How exactly are they better than South Africa? South Africa beat them every single time.

phew.. india's hopes are gone!

LOL you just heard like my younger brother. He also says that Manchester Utd will loose the match even though he knows inside that they are gona win. Its a trick for easing ones nerves and minimizing others expectations :)))

raina gone. Its all about the TOSS my brothers

Well we have seen enough matches from our team. 320 totals against Mendis and Murali with Sehwag gone.. very tough. Sehwag is one guy who dominates mendis.

I just can not understand how these lankan bowlers tormented Pakistan last month. None of them bowl regurlarly over 130 Km/hr. This is a piece of cake for Yuvraj

Because Yuvraj is a class above most of the Pakistan batsman, sad to say, nd Pakistan played like drains.

Its not that Indian pitches are always roads. Its just that Yuvraj is a "class above" Pakistani batsman. I can think of 3 Pakistani players on the same level, if not better than Yuvraj.

Yes thats why I said most, above people like Butt, Mansoor, Shoaib Malik etc, probably above Misbah too.

That's o.k, Y2K is among the best in the world, no worries about that.

Enough of Rohit Sharma in ODIs. The guy can become a good Test player, but that's it. No more ODI chances for him. There are plenty of players waiting to get their break from Pujara to Badrinath.

With this brain explosion i don't think he will do well in Tests as well. I was shocked to see the way he advanced down the wicket and lost his wicket.
All he had to do was staying there with Yuvi.

The guy seems to be unable to play when the situation demands him to score quickly. The reason I have hope in him for Tests is because he can settle down and play relaxingly. He looks to me like a Wasim Jaffar kind of player who needs his time to settle himself in, and then can make useful contributions.

If India lose today and Australia win against NL, Australia go back to nr 2 in the ODI rankings

Have noticed 2 things about Rohit Sharma

1) Very nice technique

2) Prone to making inexplicable mistakes ie reckless shot or running himself out

100 up for India. Though Yuvraj remains in top form, the big question is how long he can keep going ?

Another boundary by Yuvraj. Looks to be in terrific touch.

The YUVI :))) :))) has been killing the opposition of late

He is probably India's number 1 ODI batsman

It takes a fraction of a moment for him to lose form and start frustrating his fans.

I haven't lost hope yet :D

Eventually law of average will catch up with Dhoni. I am not going to bank on Pathans, Jadeja against 2 spinners. It is tough from here on.

Yuvi seems to be holding his knee. That might make him play more aggressively than usual.

This is so frustrating. None of the batsman clicked till now apart from Yuvraj .... neither Gambhir nor Sehwag neither Raina nor Rohit Sharma. And when they click, they all click together.

Dhoni has hamstring injury picked up in the first innings. Yuvi has knee injury. SO i expect them to go after bowling.

Raina, Gambhir atleast played some meaningful innings earlier. So it was Rohit's turn to put his hand up.

Sehwag you have to take what he offers without questions. Sometimes he goes for over-ambitious shots like he went for today. It might or might not come off.

Boys some exellent hitting in the other match ( aus-nl)

Well, I won't blame Sehwag. It's just that I'm upset at the happenings. If only our batting clicked today, we would have completed out second ODI series white wash.

With Pathan still to come, all hope isnt lost yet. Can Jadeja bat?[/QUOTE]

Yes he made over 750 runs this season. But he is a bit nervous. I won't bank on him. If he pulls off something. good for him. Otherwise don't know what to expect. He did well in IPL though.

Really ? Didn't know that. Thanks for the info, man.

21.1 Muralitharan to Yuvraj Singh, OUT
Yuvraj Singh c & b Muralitharan 73 (62b 11x4 1x6) SR: 117.74

Yuvraj Singh c & b Muralitharan 73 (62b 11x4 1x6) SR: 117.74

Game Over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yuvi went for glory shot. Gone. Pretty much on the cards. He didn't settle for the usual partnership building today. Now time for Jadeja, Yusuf, Irfan to play 50 overs and come back home.

22.4 Mendis to Dhoni, SIX, Dhoni decides to give him the charge and a length delivery is deposited some five rows back over deep midwicket :))

Dhoni hits a 4 in the fine leg region and Arun Lal goes "Dhoni hits a straight drive past the wicket keeper"

Dhoni is also injured. So i don't expect him to play one of those sensibly constructed innings.
