nothing derogatory or offense - just kind of sad that you took a discussion over a fast bowler in that direction and had to start generalizing like an absolute idiot.
He's the type of guy who would've said that Southee was the best thing ever after his first match and then gone on to say that he's the worst bowler ever after seeing him in his next three years.

My statement about Pakistani's over hyping talent is more accurate than the one you made.

More performances against SL proves JK is a quality bowler, right? Most on here already consider him a SL bully, he needs to take 5fers against other top teams like Aus, SA, Eng and India home and away before getting the recognition and rank you think he deserves.

Has he played against them??We will call him a SL bully when he does so and fails.Until then good luck with your trolling.

He's played against SA home and away and performed really poorly.

C'mon yar how many times he played ag those teams????
or should he available himself for playing with other nations ag these big teams....!!!!

The point is that we have only Junaid is remaining in our pouch & we are praising him. Thats all
On other thread peoples are praising their trundlers who hit tailender atleast Junaid is much much better than those.

which is great, and totally irrelevant to the discussion we were having. What the hell does what other pakistanis think have to do with me?

Pakistan need to bat out today and tomorrow , even if they do it slowly , they need to just sleep on the pitch :D

idiotic response.
Yeah, because over rating talent is a kiwi thing, right? We don't go gah gah after 1-2 performances like you think we do.

Southee the best thing ever and then down to the worst thing ever 3 years later :))

This has gone on long enough.

He has played only one test away, his first one. Many ATG's had a hard time adjusting in foreign conditions and he is a mediocre bowler, right??Second,he impressed one and all during that match including Shaun Pollock.Third Pak was blown away for 47, hardly anyone rises from that, much less a rookie playing his 5th or so test.

Now coming to the U.A.E.He was fantastic in the first test. The best pace bowler on show.Got big wickets at the right time.

The second test, yes he had a poor game, go on crucify him for that. Also it doesn't help when your team is knocked out for 99 on a belter of a batting wicket.

Very poor yes.Now I hope this puts an end to this discussion.

i never said or suggested that ... i don't care what kiwis do ... my comment was solely directed at you for judging junaid khan based on such few performances. ironically, that's what you generalize pakistanis as doing...

Leave it. It's useless. There is criticism and then there is attacking a player based on a couple of test matches.

My opinion on JK is purely on his lack of new ball skills, which in the long run will be exposed. A new ball bowler who can't do any damage up front is as good as useless, he'd be a decent third pacer though, he could be used as a reverse swing exponent with the older ball and as a first switch bowler when the new ball bowlers need a rest.

Yes, he can't do damage as of now - but he can swing it both ways so he does have that vital ability. If he can develop it further than he'll be a complete bowler. As of yet, he has just began his career.

Look at the difference.Mathews keeping a third slip.Had Misbah done the same the SL innings would have finished for 50 less.

It's all angle and the odd delivery which seams, he doesn't get traditional swing with the new ball...

Seam is more potent and dangerous than swing by the way.
Depends on how accurate you are, if you can land the delivery in the same spot over and over and get it to go away or come back in, then it is.

Honestly, if they can't make runs while being secure and steady, an aggressive behavior might come through for these two.

he does get swing according to pundits - wasim helped him develop his inswinger. it's not pronounced but it's there.

Regardless, swing is not absolutely necessary for a new ball bowler. McGrath and Asif hardly depended on big hooping banana swingers.

Yeah but they had immaculate control with their line and length, both were great thinkers who could work batsmen over.

Calm down boys no need to over attacking
going with 3.5 or 4/over would be best in test cricket
let your base strong rather felll down poorly due to high temperature in mind

I wish they treated this like a one day and promoted someone like Sarfraz or even Abdur Rehman to play positively and keep the aggressive motif. Save our "aces" for later.

Manzoor knows that unless he scores a match winning double in the next innings i dont see him playing against australia.
