All this talk of bringing back Ajmal hopefully should stop now. Yasir is developing nicely.

Players like Yasir and Wahab are great additions to Pakistan. They both are modern day cricketer, can bat, good fielders, play with energy. They can become 20-25 runs chip in batsmen, which translates to 100+ from tail. That adds another dimension to team. Amir is another such player in the waiting.


Now hopfully all three Sarfraz, Wahab and Yasir are settle in the team no moe insecurities of spot. This builds good team, they are fully of positive energy, different from sort of dull pragmatic personality of Misbah. Welcome change and start of new era in Pakistan cricket. Azhar Ali is level head person, looks like things are shaping up, Pakistan team is developing actually better than most. Let's hope process continues. Think tank focus should be openers, which is weakest link.

Infact in this decade we've only won 3 times in 17 attempts vs the other top 7 teams away from home - The Oval 2010, Hamilton 2010/11 and Bassetere 2011.

Hopefully today is a step forward in improving this pretty awful record.

Against australia in england though it was a neutral venue but definitely it suited asutralia more.
