I can see Babar Azam, Immad Wasim and Asad Shafiq competing for one spot, and out of all three Asad Shafiq is head and shoulders above the former two interms of technical ability and discipline, if it were a better alternative, then I would have contemplated over who should play but among these three, Shafiq is the best bet.

Shehzad being given as much confidence as possible. Hope he repays. Personally speaking, I dont think he can because he just doesnt have the game for it. There will always a be a 50 every few matches followed by a series 60 strike rate low scores.

Not in favor of chopping and changing the younger lot: messes with their confidence no matter how well explained the reasons.
Still I suppose it had to happen: they have to give enough chances to Shehzad and Hafeez before dropping them.

Well Imad Wasim did well against Sri Lanka A and if domestic stats are anything to go by I am glad Imad Wasim was picked ahead of him. Playing a blinder in a substandard T-20 tournament is not exactly a testament to anyone's batting.

But at the same time gutted for Babar Azam the same way I was for Sami Aslam. I feel they should not drop youngsters but I guess seniors can get 50 matches in a row in Pakistan team despite horrendous results but a few innings is enough to call the curtains for a youngster

He averages 41 in FC, he is much better bat than Bilal asif, who is a better bowler. IMO Imad is justified pick if you look at recent A-team series
