Adnan needs to take longer steps... he takes more of them and still Misbah beats him to the other end

I think the whole point is to drain SL in the field as much as possible. They made Sanga and Samra run a fair bit yesterday.

This pitch doesn't get better for bowlers. Misbah might as well carry on till Lunch.
 
Runs aren't par yet for getting SL out twice on this pitch. Maybe carry on till 550. Also, 98 overs to bowl today. need to bring it down a bit for our bowlers
 
Honestly there is no point declaring and giving our bowlers a tough time. We might as well carry on for as long as possible as this match is definitely a draw. Sad thing is Misbah will get bashed for a draw due to this but I think he's right.
 
At this rate, we can take it to 600 soon
 
Good work. Chopped down a few overs from our workload. Put the psychological 550 on the board. Timed the session to give bowlers a break at lunch as well.

Because Hafeez starts the batting with 196 fewer runs in that format

That's one drawback of misbah in the LOI team but he brings a lot of benefits also , one being the stability. Only a year left ,let him play in peace.
 
Misbah didn't go for personal glory, that's highly noble of him, especially since it would have been his fourth ton

Winning is more important than getting a ton , respect for misbah as tons are a rare thang for him.
 
Our fast bowling is very week , hope they at least get the openers out. Go :cheema go :junaid
 
First time in the whole series that our bowlers look more dangerous than the Lankans. Only Cheema though, Junaid's still trundling
