There are good teams, very good teams and exceptional ones, but very few teams in the history of cricket have managed to put the fear of God into opposition like this English side. I was not born during the all conquering days of the West Indies but I have seen the Aus team of 2000s, even that team would probably fall short of the intensity and firepower required to match the destructive ability of this current English team.
I am genuinely concerned about our match against England as they can not only bash teams to oblivion but can inflict mental scars and destroy morale as well. Considering we have a real chance of facing them in the KO or final makes the result of the first match is even more important. Problem is along with an otherworldy batting they now boast of the fastest and one of the most potent attacks of this world cup and to make matters worse that defeat against Pak seemed to have triggered them into beast mode, out for blood, destroying, pulverizing everything in their path.
So how do we do it? How do we tame the beast or at least minimize damage?
