Suggest ways/plans to get Virat Kohli out

if you look at it one way it would just take one good delivery to get rid of him. Can pakistan bowlers produce one wicket taking delivery against kohli on this flat track?

That's true for every batsman in the world.
Just need to produce that peach of a delivery. An inswinger from :junaid to make the middle stump fly would be a great reminder of history.

When I saw him in SA and NZ I felt he had a weakness to the short ball. I saw him get dismissed by short balls that he fended off to slips or short leg a few times. But on these wickets? Probably if you can swing the ball away from him he can nick off. He plays very well when the ball is bowled straight at the stumps.
 
Unnecessary hype for kohli in this forum as if he is at Bradman's level and you need to find weakness to get him out otherwise he will score 100 each time.

Don't know about Junaid but I think Pakistan has a decent chance to take his wickets cheaply. A hell lot more than what people are making it out to be in this thread.

I expect Pakistan to win this game due to inexperienced Indian team. Their middle order is totally new.
 
Too much hype around kohli here! Even though i am not a Big fan of Dhawan, He can score 100 easily on this pitches easily. So calm down and wait for the match.
 
Get him against Junaid as soon as he comes in, before he gets his eye in, get Junaid to keep angling across and hope we feathers one into the slips :junaid

Hey mate,

I am not sure if you are talking about Kholi here, as playing the short ball is his strength also a weakness because he is a compulsive puller, reminds me of a young Ponting the way he bats.....
 
Out swing out swing out swing, specially when a left armer does it. Wahab riaz did in wc'11 semi-final, same thing junaid did in "anay doo series ". As i recall some one from kiwi did it too.

I dont know.. I dont think we can get this guy out.. he is too good for the bowling.. not only our bowling but any team's bowling specially in sub cont pitches..
 
Get Azlan Khan to start on thread on a Kohli Storm or something, ask WebGuru to upload his phenomenal stats and keep getting Ajmal and Junaid to bowl to him. Maybe someone like Talha (if chosen), or Fawad (if chosen), or a guy like Shahzad might get him to do something stupid (0.001% chance of happening).

Misfields, sort of? We might be able to run him out, or maybe just get everyone else out.
Kohli'stoo smart though.

Point of this thread though? I don't think Juni uses PakPassion.

The best thin g is to keep him away from strike , bowl dot balls at the other end , hope that he is frustrated.
 
looking at this thread and some of the plans,kohli seems like bradman here!
I mean c'mon guys I like kohli too,class player,odi great already and will possibly end up as an ATG across all formats BUT he is not un-outable.
The best way to get kohli out I feel is not through any specific delivery but by frustrating him through drying up the runs.
Kohli does get frustrated a bit more easily than the other great batsmen I have seen and there in lies his vulnerability.
He is not a dravid like grafter,he is pretty free flowing so if u can keep his run flow in check then u guys have a great chance.

so quite a lot of people have come to an agreement that you need to frustrate him by cutting down his runs especially singles or bowl him quick bouncers on these flat tracks

Can Kohli deliver in a world cup match against Pakistan? Last world cup sachin won the man of the match, let's see how he fares this time aginst Wahad and co. I have a feeling a lot of hearts will be broken.
 
Instead of planning Kohli out why not try to kick out Younis Khan. He is neither a batman nor a good fielder in a crunch game. We can not play against good team with 10 players.

in t20 world cup his record is 78 not out nd 36 not out in 2 matches played..he can in dis world cup match ....well u guys taking tail-unted sharma very lightly..he likes bounce ....if he gets going then there is no need of kohli for sure

i think thats pretty much a given. this is probably the first world cup where Pakistani fans in general have already accepted that Pakistan cant beat India in a world cup game.
 
I know ! Mix Jamaal Gota in his tea/food and give it to him just before it is his turn to bat.He will get timed out.
 
Get the ball to to bounce high from Good Length (Irfan) around off stump and Kohli will nick it.

Kohli has a bad habit of running the deliveries around off stump to 3rd man with angled bat. If the balll bounces a bit higher than he expects, its curtains for him.

Junaid did him in India series with great swing and movement at high pace. Aus conditions will not suit Junaid Khan.

Irfan will be the guy who will dismiss Kohli in WC. If Irfan cannot dismiss Kohli, Virat will score big.
 
A couple of laxatives in subah ki chai should do the trick.
 
Anushka Sharma should be forced to attend the match and should be told to blow a kiss to him.

Kohli will return to the dressing room faster than hafeez against steyn

Thats right, no hope or expectations from pak supporters. But we all have a little feeling that this time we will break the streak.
 
Bowl well and hope to god the pitch is not flat (or Sri Lanka).
He does not have that many hundreds outside the disgraceful pitches we get in Asia.

Not exactly an impossible task.
