Tamim Iqbal most selfish batman in ODI history!

He's the most selfish player in the history of cricket, no one comes close to him.

Discuss! :misbah

you've got to be kidding me...I'm not a Tamim fan but anyone can see he's the reason we didn't eat the dust by 200..I like this Tamim better.
As for Shabbir we've got our eyes on him yes...but say wait 3/4 years more :shakib

Yes, you are right friend. But Indian fans are not bad, don't get it wrong, there are bad and good fans on each side. Indian fans here are really nice and big hearted. The thread that Monsee created it was deleted, thanks to the protest of many posters in PP, I would say around 70% disagreed with his beliefs so victory was ours at the end. Keep fighting and don't stop believing, I believe in you Brother :amla

I'm fighting right from the word "GO"!

Having read a lot of your posts AR, I do not think I can take you seriously.

TIK is way way ahead of Ashraful. And if this selfish nature of his means he scores more runs [even if they come at a SR of 70] I will still take them.

He should've accelerated straight after the 50.

He was accelerating but unfortunately he got out, thanks to brilliant bowling and fielding....

Right, runs are more important than SR(Although not always)..

I would like to see Tamim scoring runs consistently and a bit slowly rather than watching him throwing his bat at every ball wildly and then getting out....

his last 2 knocks have been out standing before he was always guilty of throwing it away earlygoes to show if he can get in how competitive BD tend to be if last 2 innings areto go by only a matter of time he gets a match winning hundred with this approach some can Umer Akmal can so learn from tamim that there always time to build an innings.

Poor bowling from India, right from the very 1st ball. Remind you that Tamim didn't accelerate after his 50.
But, I would still say, well played. From now on, he should go at this rate, and then consolidate them.

This has to rank amongst the most ridiculous threads in PP.

Shakib, Nasir, Mushfiq can all hit big after setting the platform, which is EXACTLY what Tamim did, played the anchor role.

that was just a dig at the fans in the crowd.. Common, those facial expressions against Pakistan were funny:fawad

If we create a thread on Pakistani fans reaction during the Mohali match against India while :misbah was batting in the last over, and say how funny it is, that they are praying and let's laugh at their reactions how would you feel? And then bash the Pakistani fans over and over with ridiculous posts and then put a disclaimer at the end no offense, will you still consider it funny?

Sorry brother Shahrukh :amla , that wasn't funny, that was in terrible taste.

First of all thanks for reading my posts :afridi

The way he got out against India, he threw it away after settling down, and we have seen in the past players like Riyadh and Mushy needs time to settle, it was due to the change of batting line ups that match that won us the match. Sending match winners like Shakib who gave belief to the team that the target was achievable and Nasir who kept accelerating and then later Mushy's firework.

Mushy and Riyadh has done in the past where they didn't go for the win and just played out 50 overs. Let's just hope from now on Bangladesh goes for the win instead of just playing out 50 overs. Inshallah hope so

:yk at this thread!

If you understood what cricket was bout maybe you would critizise the person on your profile name than this younge lad...

when chasing a score like 290, one dosen't go all out and starts hitting boundaries from ball 1. Someone always have to play the anchor roll! There is something called LAYING the platform for the players who will come in to bat next ...

Ridicilous thread

Tamim has made sure that Bangladesh win this match!

He and Sakib,Nasir,Mahmadullah,Nazmul have done it for BD!

Yet selectors pick shafiul islam over him over and over. Nazmul will be dropped once Shafiul returns.
I rate Shafiul much higher than Sharapova. Nazmul needs to replace Sharapova if three pacers are playing.

Weldone Tamim.

Tamim has done exceedingly well....he gave us that impeccable start especially in this match...his innings not only give self belief to others coming after him but also ease the RRR to be achievable by others...and Happy Bday to Tamim...he couldn't have asked for a better gift than BD win and entering Final

& Mustafa Kamal had forcefully dropped him from the Squad..

Good slap to the face by Tamim to M.K. ......

And Rubel will replace Shafiul once fit.

Mash - Nazmul- Rubel - Razzak - Shakib - our ideal ODI bowling line-up

Tamim's rubbish form continues, we should kick him out for good after this world cup. He is terribly out of shape, he was so slow in the field today that an unfit and limping Mashrafee over ran and got to the ball, dropped a catch and looked hopeless both with the bat and in the field. If he has any shame left, he needs to get back in shape. Stop eating junk food and workout regularly.

I think it's time for a likely bump. Tamim may have improved in meaningless JAMODIS in Bangladesh but he averages 22.68 in World Cup after 22 matches. He is not a big match player and I think we should open with Liton & Soumya.

2015 World Cup Scores 19 (42) vs Afghanistan, 0 (2) vs Srilanka, 95 (100) vs Scotland, 2 (7) vs England, 13 (27) vs New Zealand, 25 (25) vs India. His strike rate is quite poor as you can see and he adds unwanted pressure to Soumya Sarkar. Against good bowling side he eats up balls and gets out to a poor shot, it is being ridiculous. Liton looked calm against India and was doing his work smoothly.

2019 World CUP 16 (29) vs South Africa (strike rate of 55). Lowest strike rate also he looked out of sort. He is an opener from the 80s.

Tamim is way too slow and it is often overlooked as Soumya, Riad, Mushfiq makes up the balls. Also, he is getting back from an injury and is not 100% fit. If we want to be a formidable unit Tamim isn't the answer.

My Line up:

1) Soumya
2) Liton
3) Shakib
4) Mushfiq
5) Mithun
6) Riyad
7) Mosaddek
8) Miraz
9) Shafiuddin / Rubel
10) Mash
11) Mustafiz

If he fails vs Kiwis, we need to replace him with Liton immediately. He got enough free rides.

Tamim was the 2nd highest run scorer in the last ICC tournament (CT) and highest run scorer in the recent ICC T20 WC

He has upped his performance in big events tbh.

His poor performance in big matches continues, if he was playing for any other teams he would have been replaced by now.

World Cup 2019: 24 (38) vs New Zealand and 16 (29) vs South Africa. After 23 matches he is averaging 22.73 with a strike rate of 72.53. 7 more matches to go and if he keeps batting like this, we should replace him with Liton. A very big disappointment so far.
