Incase of same number of series lost, team losing more recently takes the lower position.

1) India - 1 vs Eng 2012 (1-2)

2) Eng - 2 vs SA 2012 (0-2), vs Srl 2014 (0-1)

3) Pak - 2; vs NZ 2018 (1-2), vs Srl 2017 (0-2)

Pakistan shouldn't be considered. They played all their matches at a neutral venue, so not "home". India has the best home record followed by NZL and England in the last 10 years.
 
Interesting to see how much Eng and NZ have grown during the last decade and home numbers show that for the majority of the second half. These performances also illustrate that Aus has struggled against some quality fast bowling in their home conditions.
 
SL is such a unique team, defeated Eng and SA away and lost half a dozen home series.

It was the adapted home for Pak so has to be included.
 
Pakistan's over reliance on spin in UAE has given them a good record but in return it has taken pacers in the background and that is clear from the overseas struggle for most part of the decade where pacers have to do the heavy lifting except a series win vs NZ earlier in the decade and couple of drawn series against Eng.

Not sure how strong the home record for Pak would be in Pak in this decade but, I definitely expect some pacers to come in the reckoning again which should help in overseas tours.

Pakistan will lose more at home in this decade now that we are back in Pakistan. The likes of Australia, England and New Zealand will enjoy Pakistani conditions more than UAE ones. Their pacers will be much more effective and the batsmen will also score more fluently.

And we should hope that India continues to avoid bilateral cricket with Pakistan because it will be a massacre whenever they decide to tour.

There is definitely high chance for that. I think it It wont be a bad trade off if we can somehow develop better pace bowling unit in this decade with bit more encouragement for pacers than almost non existent one in the last decade. Whatever it will be it definitely wont give the escape through spin route against top teams as easily.

Can't pakistan just prepare slow pitches when those teams tour? And if Sri Lanka etc..tour prepare faster pitches.

Your Pakistan stats are not correct. Pakistan played 12 series in UAE and 2 series in Pakistan from 2010 onwards, so total 14 series and won 8 of those, lost 2 and drew 4. So Pak failed to win 6 out of 14 series, which in percentage terms equal 42.8 %
 
Nobody talks about which country provides the most neutral pitches where both host and visiting teams can win matches. :inti

I think Buffet might also have included the home series which Pak played against Aus in Eng in 2010.
 
Cric info puts ICC World Test Championship, 2019-2021 as a separate entry even though it will be already counted as another series. Data I posted maybe having issues for other countries as well if the same issue is present for all countries.

Interesting. Pak seems to have played least number of home series, this should improve in the coming decade.

Yes, on top of that it was not really at home. Playing in Pakistan should provide many young kids to watch international stars in action and get inspired.
 
That 2012 English side had so many match winners; beating India in India is the toughest job.
Take India's record with an asterisk tho, as Pak never played against them.

This decade, I don't see anyone beating India in India. Maybe if Root/Stokes/Archer have monstrous series simultaneously. NZ don't have enough spinning options to trouble India and Australia are scarred and overrated. Rest are simply not good enough or probably won't even play India until 2030.

I remember Eng beating us in 2012, SA drawing in 2010. Which is the third team to achieve the feat?

As I stated earlier, Cricinfo puts an extra entry for WTC and I did not spot it when filtering.

For India, it's 2 series where they failed to win at home.

Your WI and SL stats are completely incorrect too. WI have played 16 home series since 2010. And they have won only 5 of them, so they have failed to win 11/16 series, which in percentage terms = 68.75 %. SL have played 19 home series since 2010 and won 7 of them, so they have failed to win 12/19 series, which in percentage terms= 63.15 %. So SL's failing to win percentage is lesser than WI's failing to win percentage and thus SL should be ahead of WI.

As I stated earlier, all of the data is wrong. You can safely ignore the calculations based on the wrong data I did earlier.
