On paper this batting line up is pure garbage. No balance whatsoever in the side. A simple case of accommodating certain players who can only perform in certain positions.

This is perhaps the worst post I have ever read on PP.

Misbah isn't exemplary with his conduct and behaviour as you're trying to make him out to be. For example he has been giving sarcastic responses to whenever he's been asked to justify his selections.

It's ironic that you bring up "I couldn’t care less if we lost as long as my country keeps its respect" because it was only last year when he decided to oust Mickey Arthur (when he was a committee member) to advance his self-interests. The words "Misbah"and "respect" should never be mentioned in the same sentence.

It's this type of mentality that is holding Pakistan back, whether it be in cricket or in other affairs not the "jahil log" that you have in your mind.

As an Indian, sometimes i wonder how Misbah become such a powerful person in PCB setup. I mean, he was discarded for most of his youth and only arrived on international scene when selectors ran out of options just like Fawad Alam. He established himself and now running the show. Really strange stuff !!
Regarding the loss today, its ok bro, this is cricket. India got out for 36 recently. Cricket is a sport which starts with a flip of a coin. Its a game of chance. You see a ball and react instinctively to it. Today Pak batting flopped. Its like they called for Heads and it flipped tails everytime. Its fine, they will buckle up and win the series.

The only argument selection wise would be Haider’s omission and I agree he should have played. But regardless of who was playing, a chase this simple is not something that a coach can take blame for, any decent side would chase this down in 15 overs at least.

It's not like Haider has set the world on fire. Had he performed in the previous matches he would've gotten a run.

If Hasan and Nawaz were playing we would've won.
