People calling this guy a hack and some one who’s not an ODI player should atleast give him a chance.

If hacks like David miller can do well in international cricket than this guy should atleast be given a chance.

Our batting is pretty bad anyway and none of our players no how to accelarate so I think he definetly deserves a chance.

I don't think it's early at all. He's looked mediocre in the few ODIs the he has played, but move than that he is a pretty average domestic OD player as well

He has been pretty mediocre throughout his career in all formats which is why his averages are so low, but he's had a resurgence in the past couple of years. His T20 form really picked up in 2017, and while he didn't play any List A cricket last year, so far he's had a brilliant 2018 in the List A format.

In 23 matches this year, he's made 813 runs with 3 hundreds and 3 fifties, at an average of 48 with a strike-rate of 124. 59 fours and 44 sixes. These are serious numbers.
