Regardless, very impressed by Kumar. From being a trundler who bowled his faster ball around 133 KPH, it is good to see him bowling faster and getting wickets.
Would like to see Kumar bowl in the UAE. Then again he might not even make the playing XI there.Yes, he is now bowling faster than most Pakistani test pacers now.

Those are decent speeds, but nothing special. I would like to see the speeds of Saffer pavers. I hope Steyn can bowl with pace inspire of having played less cricket lately.
As expected, you missed the point of my earlier post.Yes because bowling average of 35 is better than bowling average of 25.
Figures at the end of the day would be more accurate. Almost all of them are losing steam by their second spells.
Ah but this thread is about how quick people can bowl - accuracy etc is not the point here.

I was told by certain Indian fans that Pandya, Bumrah and Shami are bowlers who will consistently bowl around the 145 mark. None of them are even consistently over 140. Disappointing stuff after all the "expectations". And that too in the first session, speeds must be highest at this time.

Shami is just coming back from an injury.
Nobody ever claimed Pandya would bowl 145 kph.
Yes. Faster than Wahab Riaz who can bowl faster than 150 at will. And most certainly faster than Amir and Hasan who are consistently in the 140's.
I think you missed the word test while quoting my post.

Not difficult to see that only Wahab is quicker than Bhuvneswar in tests. Rest are either at similar speeds or slower.
A world of a difference between Tests being played in South Africa and UAE. Lets compare their speeds once Pakistan has played NZ.
And can't say anything about Abbas. I've made my dislike for him quite obvious. An insult to fast bowling.
Those speeds include 1 inning from SA, rest are from UAE, WI, India and SL.
So you're claiming that it's easier to bowl faster in India than in UAE and WI? What's possible explanation for that apart from laziness and lack of stamina from bowlers?
Compare the pitches and the weather in UAE with India and UAE.
What was weather like during last SL series?
What about WI series?
Pitches were flat in India, UAE, helpful in WI (where Pak played).
How about we wait for the NZ test and then we can compare speeds from this Test match and that one.
Okay.

Please bring up the bowling speeds of the said bowlers in the last match they played against each other on the same venue. Let's make it fair.Yes, sure. Till now we know that only Wahab is faster than Bhuvneswar. I think we can agree on that.

Apologies. I forgot they don't have speed guns in LOI cricket. They haven't played test cricket.
Rabada is the fastest. Not by much though.
India is not playing Yadav who is the fastest of the lot.
Yadav quicker than Rabada?![]()
Nope. But he can bowl above 140 on average. Just don't ask him to bowl one line and length for too long.
