In today's match against Wi the thing which disappointed me the most was the body language of Pakistan's players. Everyone was looking like they just want to get over the match and there was no passion at all. Can someone explain that why they were not looking like a unit?

You clearly aren't following the news that were coming out daily from Pakistani camp

Its the effect of all those turkish naans, biryaanis & rogan goshts that they have filled themselves up before this match:facepalm::facepalm::shrug

Its not may be happening. Its clear there are groups in the team especially afridi group whos revolting everything they been asked for. Then there is old player association group moin waqar and ahmed. Whether team looses or wins they dont care bas naak neechi nahin honi chahiye.
poor misbah. If shahryr was so stubborn on misbah as captain why he didnt give him powers to select the playing 11 or take decisions. This team isnt hoing anywhere tbh.

should have predicted this when Sharyar khan didn't succumb to media to make Afridi captain, this is what happens.

Seems like the news from the media were true. There is a lot going on in that dressing room.

The Pakistani dressing room doesn't seem like a nice place at the moment. They have ten days to sort all this rubbish out before the next game. I'm sure it's only 2 or 3 players causing all this trouble.

They all look lazy and tired. Seems that they couldn't care less over what Pak fans think or feel. Afridi's body language is always the worst of all, his pose after taking a wicket makes me cringe where as after dropping a catch he shows no regret. It shows he looks upon himself as being bigger then the team.

and his reaction when someone else miss fields off his bowling :)))

Lets guess who these trouble makers are.Afridi,Shehzad,Akmal,Younis possibly.
The most quite ones seem to be Sarfraz,Haris and the bowlers.

Afridi:
1. Drops catches
2. Doesn't bowl well
3. Doesn't Bat well
4. Doesn't even care after dropping catches
5. Protects Shezad after he misbehaves with the staff.
6. Has a big mouth
6. His age

Even after all this , He is in the team.

1. First time in a long time Afridi has dropped catches. If it becomes a regular thing it will be something to worry about.
2. Bowled decent in both matches, nothing special but had we played an actual wicketkeeper he would have had atleast 1 wicket in both matches.
3. First match he scored 22 which is pretty much his average, 2nd match he outscored the top 5 and was out trying to accelerate seeing as we needed over 10 rpo. As Imran said, if the top order cannot score runs don't expect Afridi to win you matches by himself.
4. Doesn't care? He certainly seemed to care after dropping the first catch, don't know what match others were watching and the second catch was an incredibly difficult catch after which he hurt his hand and needed a little treatment.
5. How do you know this? Have you been running around the Pakistan camp.
6. He eats cricket balls, a big mouth is needed.
7. (I'll help you with this, counting doesn't seem to be your strong point, sherlock ;)) Nothing wrong with his age. Misbah is over 40 yet people argue that he is the best batsman in the side.

7th one was funny lol But I fail to understand people like you who seem like they are paid to support Afridi. What if a youngster comes and plays better cricket than Afridi and wins them matches. Why are you so fascinated with Afridi? Is he above the team? We left Yuvraj out who is 1000 times more talented than Afridi.

'People like you' :))

Which point of mine is not correct. Point it out and back it up instead of generalising and making a nonsense post. There is constructive criticism and criticism for the sake of it. If you say Afridi had a poor time on the pitch Vs Windies - i'll agree. If you blame him for the loss, i won't.

Afridi dropped catches after a very long time (one easy one and a difficult one) yet i have seen many threads opening about it as though he does it every match and he should change his name to Shahid Akmal.

If Afridi was really such a big problem in the dressing room then Waqar or Misbah wouldn't tolerate him in the camp. If someone now says they are too afraid to chuck out the hero, then I would suggest they should resign if they feel unable to do their jobs.

But my guess is that all this anti-Afridi talk is just fans baseless gossip, if anything he is one of the players who does show fight. I think the problem is that the selectors have picked players who are mentally weak like Nasir Jamshed, and the game plan has been flawed which has led to more dejection. Misbah's decision to bowl against the Windies showed the rest of the side he feared their new ball bowling in the morning.

Today in the day & night test match, the body language was very disappointing. After being hit for a few runs later in the day, the Pakistani players looked very beaten down and demotivated. Rahat Ali, in particular, had the 'scared boy' face on him when bowling. They need to be more aggressive on the field otherwise the Australians won't treat them as their opposition, instead as 14 year olds whom they can bully on the field.
