Arteta needs a trophy this season. He will play his best team .

Liverpool & top 6 teams can rest players with this draw.

It’s still a prestigious trophy. Many teams will aim to win this

Wolves forward Matheus Cunha has been handed a two-match ban and fined £80,000 after a misconduct charge

It means Cunha, who was substituted with an injury in the recent 2-2 draw with Tottenham, will miss the Premier League clash at home to Nottingham Forest and the FA Cup third round trip to Bristol City.

The 25-year-old will next be available when Vitor Pereira's men travel to Newcastle in the Premier League on January 15.

In the incident against Ipswich, Cunha appeared to elbow a member of opposition staff before forcefully removing his glasses while teammates and coaches tried to drag him away.

A FA statement added: "The forward was charged with misconduct and it was alleged that he acted in an improper manner after the final whistle. He admitted the charge and the sanctions were subsequently imposed by an independent Regulatory Commission.

"Full written reasons for this case will be published in due course."

Cunha's absence is a blow for relegation-threatened Wolves, with the Brazilian a shining light in what has been a difficult season so far.

The 25-year-old has ten goals and four assists in 19 Premier League appearances this term, including two goals since the incident against Ipswich.

Defender Tosin Adarabioyo scored twice from outside the box as Chelsea cruised into the fourth round of the FA Cup with a win over League Two strugglers Morecambe at Stamford Bridge.

Morecambe keeper Harry Burgoyne impressed in the first half and saved Christopher Nkunku's early penalty after visiting captain Yann Songo'o was penalised for a handball.

But Chelsea eventually broke the deadlock in fortunate circumstances as Adarabioyo's shot from the edge of the box deflected wickedly off midfielder Callum Jones into the net after 39 minutes.

Straight after the restart Nkunku netted the Blues' second on the rebound after Burgoyne had denied Renato Veiga.

Adarabioyo, who had only scored once for Chelsea before Saturday, netted his second and the hosts' third in the 70th minute with a wonderful curling effort into the top corner from 25 yards out.

And, as Morecambe faded, Joao Felix added two further late goals, the first a side-footed finish from the edge of the area and the second a fine curling strike from a tight angle, to give Chelsea a resounding win.

"It was the first time in my professional career I was on a hat-trick," 27-year-old centre-back Adarabioyo told BBC Match of the Day.

After his second, the former Fulham defender was encouraged to shoot every time he got on the ball by the home fans and admitted he secretly wanted to, but was often "too far out".

Adarabioyo joined Chelsea in the summer, but has struggled to break into the first team and has made just nine league appearances this term.

After the match Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca praised his players for being "very professional and very serious".

Jack Grealish scored his first goal in more than a year and James McAtee hit a second-half hat-trick as Manchester City surged to their biggest win since January 2019 to knock League Two Salford out of the FA Cup.

Grealish converted the 49th-minute spot-kick after he had been fouled, then exchanged a joke with routine penalty-taker Erling Haaland, who was on the bench after manager Pep Guardiola had chosen to leave out a number of big names for the third-round tie.

The England man's last goal came against Crystal Palace on 16 December 2023, and he has struggled for form since.

Grealish handed over responsibilities to Jeremy Doku when City were awarded another penalty 20 minutes later. The Belgian was also successful, having started what was to turn into a one-sided first meeting between City and a Salford side owned by the famous 'Class of 92'.

Young striker Divin Mubama scored on his debut when the former West Ham FA Youth Cup winner tapped home Matheus Nunes' astute low cross, and Nico O'Reilly also scored his first City goal when he sent a low shot into the far corner from Doku's cut-back.

But McAtee, surprisingly overlooked for long spells of the season by Guardiola despite City's poor form, soon took centre stage.

The England Under-21 man profited from Doku's approach work for his first after 62 minutes, and within 19 minutes had claimed the match ball as he was set up by Phil Foden and Grealish.

"I'm so happy for him, he's a special player," Guardiola told Match of the Day. "He's been at City for a long time, a City supporter and he was one of the biggest talents at the academy from the generation of Jadon Sancho, Cole Palmer, Morgan Rogers and Liam Delap. He played with these guys and was the captain of them.

"I'm really, really pleased he's here with us."

McAtee added: "I've been here since I was 10 and it's a special moment for me. Something I'll remember forever."

Leicester robbed, offside goal scored by Man U, no VAR at this stage of the competition

It's moments like this I'm glad VAR exists

'Not Fergie time, offside time' - Leicester rue lack of VAR as Man Utd progress

Ruud van Nistelrooy knows all about 'Fergie time' - the term used by some football fans to describe late goals scored by Manchester United when Sir Alex Ferguson was manager.

But, after his Leicester side were knocked out of the FA Cup by a controversial stoppage-time Harry Maguire header on his Old Trafford return on Friday, the Dutchman had a new way to describe such drama.

"We are not defeated in Fergie time, we are defeated in offside time," the former Manchester United striker told ITV after his side were beaten in round four.

His frustration was that, with the scores level at 1-1 and the game in the third and final minute of injury-time and heading for 30 minutes of extra time, Maguire headed the winner, despite appearing to be offside when Bruno Fernandes sent a free-kick towards the back post.

But with no video assistant referee (VAR) at this stage of the FA Cup, it was down to the decision of the officials, who felt there was nothing wrong with the goal.

Having had a bit more time to digest the outcome when he faced the media around an hour after full-time, Van Nistelrooy was no calmer about the situation.

"We are gutted," he said.

"When you prepare for the whole week for this game and reacting after the Everton loss and put in a performance like that but it is decided on a clear and obvious mistake, that is unacceptable and unthinkable at this level.

"We have nothing else to do but pick ourselves up. It is not what the team deserved."

Why was VAR not in use?

Having had time to analyse replays of the goal, VAR would most likely have overturned the on-pitch decision.

However, the Football Association announced in mid-December, external that the technology would not be used in the FA Cup until the fifth round.

"VAR has only been used in the FA Cup previously for matches at Wembley Stadium and at Premier League grounds because of the infrastructure, workforce and costs that are required for its operation," the FA said in a statement on 16 December.

"This decision ensures that there is a consistent refereeing approach for all clubs taking part in the same stage of the competition."

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim admitted his side were fortunate with the decision, and feels it vindicates the use of VAR, even if his side benefited on this occassion from its absence.

"With VAR it's not a goal," he said.

"I think it's important to have VAR because it's fair for the game. It's hard to lose like that with an offside play. But we deserve a little bit of luck."

Former Manchester United midfielder Roy Keane felt the debate is not over whether VAR is needed, but that it was a clear enough error that should have been picked up by the officials.

He said on ITV: "That's a poor decision, the linesman [assistant referee] has got to see that.

"You have got to get those big decisions right."

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright added: "Look where the linesman is. That impacts him [Van Nistelrooy] that impacts his managerial career because it's another loss.

"That would have been a really big confidence booster for them. But they have to lift themselves, because of the officials."

Van Nistelrooy added: "It is a hard one to take because the game was decided on a mistake.

"It is not a matter of VAR where you look at millimetres, it was half a metre, it was clear."

Garnacho shines and Dorgu makes debut

Despite accepting the winner was cruel on his opponents, Amorim felt his side were in need of a bit of luck.

Manchester United have struggled for consistency since the Portuguese coach was appointed in November and while he and the club's fans will have welcomed this win, there were still some causes for concern.

They were again poor in the first half, failing to manage a single shot on target as they fell behind to Bobby De Cordova-Reid's opener.

Amorim gave January signing Patrick Dorgu his debut but played him at right-wing back, despite the 20-year-old being more often played at left-back.

Amorim was seen giving the former Lecce player a lot of instructions, before taking him off at half-time.

"I was trying to help Dorgu to manage the game," he said. "He's had three training sessions so it was hard for him.

"If you see the history of Dorgu he played a lot of games on the right side. Sometimes you need a left foot on the right side to come inside and connect in a different way."

Dorgu was replaced by Alejandro Garnacho and his introduction changed the game in United's favour. His pace down the left caused problems and he had a deflected shot superbly cleared off the line before sending in the cross that led to Joshua Zirkzee's equaliser.

Garnacho had been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in the winter window, but Amorim had appeared keen to keep hold of him and his impact in this game showed why.

"He made a big impact," Maguire said.

"He always does that when he comes off the bench, so credit to him, he's ready, he's focused."

FA Cup ties to pause for fasting Muslim players during Ramadan

FA Cup matches that take place during Ramadan will briefly pause to allow Muslim players to break their fast.

The Islamic holy month begins this weekend, with Manchester City's game against Plymouth on Saturday and Manchester United's match against Fulham the ties that could be affected.

Muslims around the world will be fasting, meaning they abstain from consuming any food or drink during daylight hours.

The Football Association's fifth-round fact sheet states: "Players observing Ramadan will be permitted a short pause in play to break their fast.

"An approximate time will be agreed when the pause will take place, and it will not be used as a team drinks break or tactical time-out."

City's game kicks-off at 17:45 GMT, with sunset taking place at 17:47, while United's game is a 16:30 kick-off the following day and the sun setting at 17:49.

Muslim players that may be in action include City pair Omar Marmoush and Abdukodir Khuzanov, United defender Noussair Mazraoui and Fulham winger Adama Traore, while Plymouth manager Miron Muslic is also a Muslim.

The Premier League have issued similar directives during Ramadan in recent years, with players breaking their fast during a natural stoppage in play, such as a goal-kick, free-kick or throw-in.

Ramadan will take place from 1 to 30 March this year.

The FA Cup quarter-finals will take place on the weekend of 29 and 30 March.

Bournemouth to face Man City, Preston to host Villa

Bournemouth have been drawn at home to Manchester City in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Preston, the only Championship side left in the FA Cup, are at home to Unai Emery's Aston Villa.

Fulham host Crystal Palace in a London derby.

And Brighton will be at home to either Nottingham Forest or Ipswich, who play their fifth-round tie on Monday.

Aside from 2023 victors Manchester City, Ipswich are the most recent FA Cup winners (1978) left in it.

Fulham, Palace, Bournemouth and Brighton have never won the cup.

"It's very open now. What a chance for a team to go and win it," said ex-Manchester City and Villa defender Micah Richards on BBC One.

"All the [other] big teams are out. Manchester City are obviously the strongest team left in there. This is what we wanted, teams to get a chance."

The quarter-final ties will take place on the weekend of Saturday, 29 March.
