Has anyone watched the series? I was very impressed by the show. I did not expect india to make a shoe where they would question their army since Indians usually put army on a high pedestal

Season 1 or 2?

I only watched season 2 and frankly, the plot didn't involve a lot about the Indian army.

Just finished the second season. 1st season was much better. Major Sameer gives a lot of vibes which we get from some members of this forum

Have finished both seasons. Acting is good.. and some really funny moments in otherwise serious business of national security.
Storyline, well it is predictable with a difference of gritty and more violent scenes permissible due to it being on OTT platform.
Its the same, ISI and some other agencies are conspiring for the next attack.
Same as Russians/Chinese trying to outdo Americans and CIA.

I liked Sacred Games more, it had better screen play and direction.

Season 2 when it started seemed weaker storyline than Season 1. I skipped and restarted after a month and found it very good after some time. My only gripe is the untimely cusswords in every sentence. seems unreal and over the top

Come to Engineering colleges in Punjab/Bihar/Haryana.. It is literally in every sentence..:asif

yeah I know about that.
The protagonist and antagonists aren't college kids though so cuss words seemed out of place

Well, its the mature adults in Haryana and Punjab who use cuss words the most tbh.
But i get your point. On the OTT, since there is no censorship they go overboard.

The series showed that ISI was working with LTTE but in reality, Pakistan actually supported SL army and provided assistance and that is the reason why many Sri Lankans see Pakistanis in positive light and Indians in negative.

Season 2 was making a bit of a controversy on social media and so I went ahead and checked out the trailer to see what the fuss was about. As soon as I saw that LTTE was collaborating with the ISI for an attack against India in the trailer, I knew this was one of those 90s type Hollywood flicks where the aliens wage a war against Earth and USA saves the world.

The plot itself is fairly engrossing I have to say, but you shouldn't expect any sort of authenticity with regards to past or prevailing geopolitical scenarios while watching it. If you're a fan of action movies or TV series based on real political events and crises like Argo, Munich, Fauda, etc., this is not for you as there is heavy fiction in the plotlines. The entire series has fairly nationalistic undertones even if it's not presented in a bombastic manner and basically every season, the TASC force save India from outside or inside threats - islamic radicalism among malayali muslims in first season, terrorist threats from sri lankan tamils in second season and the third season seems to be Chinese causing trouble in the north east. The threats change with every season but the common recurring bad guy in the series is the rogue ISI officer - Major Sameer who keeps plotting sinister plans to attack India every season. So I wouldn't recommend the show to Pakistanis who are particularly patriotic:yk

Season 1 was not nationalistic at all. Even the Srikant Tiwari and other characters said that too at various points in the show that they were terrorists and killing people. The woman serving in Kashmir in the show said that she doesn’t know if she’s right in the war of Kashmir

I saw both the seasons and loved ebey bit of it.

Season 2 especially was great viewing after 3rd episode.

Imo, 2nd season > 1st season.

Vajpayee (as usual) and Samantha were great!

Got misled by Vajpayee in your post:narine

On second thoughts, I think Bengalis substitute B for V, not sure if it's true the other way around.
I think Biharis pronounce Vajpayee as Bajpayee, which Manoj Vajpayee is. For me, all Vajpayees are Vajpayees, not Bajpayee.

Atal Bihari Vajpayee was called Atal Bihari Vajpayee and not Bajpayee.
