Pokemon. I'll be 50 and will still play it. Don't care about any other game.
Hoenn or Kanto?
For me the best part of those games was getting together an all-around team to beat the league. Then after that was the side-quest with legendaries. Also, forming a bond with ur starter. I usually picked the Water ones. Man looking at the games these days it's too focused on graphics and pointless stuff with no originality.Personally Hoeen is the best followed by Sinnoh/Kanto.
People overrate Kanto sometimes.

Forgot about Pokemon. Are you getting Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon?
Hell yeah. Post game is supposed to be quite extensive, and the frontier is coming back.
Nice. I haven't really been up to date with what they've released of the game so far, but still pretty excited because Sun was one of the best in the series. If this is even half as good, it will be great.
I hope the postgame is better than Sun/Moon. I never was too interested in frontier though. The only ones I liked were Pokeathlon and some of the contests for DPP.
Gaming since i was 6 years old. Too many to list down. These days I'm playing call of duty ww2 (my first call of duty in 5 years) and I'm prestige 2 in it. And I'm playing Persona 5 on the side

TBH... I never had time (or interest) in computer/console games. Growing up the only games I played were CS, Red Alert 2, Generals, Age of Empires. Then I didn't play anything from age 18 to about 23... Then for a couple of years I played CS GO on and off, and now back to nothing.
I was always more sporty/outdoorsy type. I grew up playing soccer and cricket like crazy and even today play table tennis and soccer once or twice a week.
Alot of my buddies hang out and play Fifa but that never appealed to me and slowly and steadily I developed other group of friends who were more sporty like me and weren't Fifa fanatics.
Swampert was a beast in Hoenn, he literally destroyed every gym and beat every dragon pokemon in the elite 4.
Hoenn is the one region where I love all 3 starters, very hard decision for me lol.
I remember training Slakoth. What a pain it was to train him. But the pay off was huge, he could one shot a lot of things towards the end of the game.
My most fondest memory was first encountering a Latios in the wild, I was so shocked to see one because I always saw the pokemon in front covers of the games and whatnot. I also remembered catching all three Regis with my mates during primary school, it was like a little adventure in trying to find them. When it comes to the battle frontier, I was only able to beat the battle factory, battle dome and battle pike. I never trained a slakoth though but the slaking was super strong, I trained a bagon to a salamence instead lol.
Dude Latios was my favorite pokemon and I was kicking myself when I realized in Emerald that you can actually choose which one of the Latis to catch when you choose the color red or blue.... I chose red without knowing.
Yeah the regi quests were epic.
But I was stuck on the 7th gym for months, it took me way too long to realize that you had to use dive ON sootopolis city to enter it)
Loool I could keep going on and on about pokemon emerald since it was one of my favourite childhood games of all time. Nah sootopolis was the 8th gym I remember, I never found any gym leader difficult except for 3rd (electric) or 4th (Fire). One thing that my friend had to help me on was that you could use your watering can on a sudowoodo to fight one)
So excited for KH3! Too bad it's coming in 7 months but I'll wait I guess. Been playing KH2.5 on Proud mode as of now. Am Lvl 99 and attempting data battles.
BTW well done on the thread. Great idea.

I love Kingdom Hearts but I still think there is real chance that it will get delayed further to probably March or April.
E3 2018: FIRST CYBERPUNK 2077 GAMEPLAY DETAILS: FIRST-PERSON, DRIVING, AND CHARACTER NAME, MORE
The first gameplay details on CD Projekt RED's Cyberpunk 2077 have emerged, most notably that unlike The Witcher 3, this game is a first-person RPG. This news came during a live gameplay demo behind closed doors at E3 2018.
Below are some of the biggest details that emerged from the live demo.
CD Projekt describes the game as a "first-person RPG."
Gameplay is in first a first-person perspective, but switched to third-person during a cutscene.
You play a character named V (as in the letter).
V can be a man or a woman.
The stats you pick at the start include Strength, Constitution, Intelligence, Reflexes, Tech, and Cool.
These stats are all pulled from the original tabletop RPG.'
There are no classes at the start. Instead, you evolve the class you want to be as you play instead of picking a role.'
Your apartment is a set place that fills with all of the clothes and weapons you get, though you don't have to go there to swap.
You'll be able to get more and different apartments throughout the game.
You can drive cars in the game, and seemingly toggle between first and third person during this.
While driving in first-person, the U.I. appears diegetically on the windshield.
You can engage in combat while driving -- AI took over steering as you lean out the window and shoot at enemies.
CD Projekt also described Cyberpunk as a "mature experience intended for mature audiences."
The goal is for you to not only engage with the game world, but with its inhabitants.
Like Witcher, you take missions from NPCs and have dialogue options in conversations.
It's an open world that you open up more with "street cred." For example, a specific jacket might raise it by 5%, allowing you access to new places.'
Completing a quest levels up your street cred.
The UI in the demo is extremely minimal at -- just a light compass and a small quest log.
UI expands during combat -- enemies have names, health bars, and what appear to be levels.
Some enemies have question marks instead of levels, possibly meaning they're much higher level than you.
Damage numbers pop up during combat.
There's a bullet-time-like ability that allows you to slow down time.
CD Projekt keeps emphasizing that choices have consequences, in the moment and to the world at large.
Obstacles have several solutions depending on your skills. For example, V got to a door, but his hacking skill was too low. However, his engineering skill was high enough, so he could open a panel and bypass the door.
There's an inspection system lets you look super close at items and learn more about lore.
You use an inhaler to heal.
Gunplay feels slower than Doom or Borderlands, but faster than Fallout 4.
CD Projekt showed off some late-game abilities, including mantis-like blade arms and wall running.
We saw a boss fight against a dude in an exoskeleton. This included sliding under cars and taking cover.
After being announced in May 2012, CD Projekt RED went mostly quiet on Cyberpunk 2077 for years. It was re-revealed this year during Microsoft's E3 2018 press conference.

I remember the Spidey on PS2 was outstanding, the new release should be equally good if not better. Will probably get it eventually. Also, was looking forward to Gran Turismo but all the bad reviews put me off; don't think there are many decent racing games on ps4 besides Dirt Rally; Forza has always been the best in the genre but it's an exclusive for Xbox One.
The next Spiderman should put all the past Spiderman games to shame man. Spidey 2 was amazing but this new one looks next-level. Even web-slinging across New-York city looks insanely fun. The animations just seem so damn smooth. Have you seen the latest trailer at E3?
No mate need to check it out, am not a fan of Marvel but outside the X-Men Spidey had always been my favourite. It will surely challenge the greatest games ever produced in the genre as the best release ever, any word on Boxing games![]()

Truly breathtaking gameplay. I was even considering selling my existing ps4 and buying a ps4 pro with the cash
Sadly I don't think EA would be too interested in making a triple-a boxing game at the moment. They seem to be busy with FIFA/NFL/NBA these days. The days of fight night games seem to be over![]()
I love Kingdom Hearts but I still think there is real chance that it will get delayed further to probably March or April.
And the Data Battles are extremely hard! I’ve attempting all of them and I’ve only been able to beat Marluxia, Axel and Roxas.
Which mode are you playing on? I only beat Zexion so far. You should try Zexion, Saix or Demyx next. These are more of the easier ones.
You guys played God of War yet? If not, get it.
The hype is justified.
Finally a Gaming thread. So many good games coming out this year and next year. What a time to be a gamer.
I am most hyped for Fallout 76 and Red Dead Redemption 2.
Nice one, incredible gameplayIf it's on PC then you should invest in updating your hardware instead to get the best out of a 4k experience, the console updates generally are of a lower quality / poor value for money. But obviously sometimes having a console is just convenient.
EA have no issues releasing those UFC gameswhich are terrible by the way ! they need to drop them and focus on Boxing again, I have read articles that we could get a remastered version of Fight Night Champion but it's on Xbox One
I wouldn't be surprised if I get the Xbox One just for that game lol even though I game like once every 2 months aha
You guys played God of War yet? If not, get it.

God Of War is fantastic. But I didn’t really like the story as much as most people.
It was a good story but it just didn’t grab me.
I hate what EA did with the Titanfall franchise. They slotted Titanfall 2 release right next to BF1 and set it up for failure so that they could eventually buy Respawn. Now Respawn is going to make the next Star Wars (read: Money Grab) game instead of Titanfall 3.
Titanfall has probably the best FPS experience, an amazing game and truly under-rated. I play it on the PS4 and there is a dedicated online community. I recommend any one reading this to try it. Its campaign mode is one of the best out there as well.
Fortnite's Crazy New 'Playground' Mode Finally Releases Tomorrow, June 27th
Fortnite fans have been waiting a long time for the 'Playground' mode to launch in the game and now it's finally happening.
The 'Playground' Limited-Time Mode (LTM) launches tomorrow alongside the v4.5 update. At last players will be able to practice their building and combat skills without consequences.
While we don't have all the details just yet---we'll know those as soon as downtime ends tomorrow morning---we do know that this mode will allow players to have a little fun without the stress of losing a match.
While everyone expected the v4.5 update to go live this morning, Fortnite developer Epic Games ended up announcing the new content this afternoon:
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Play in the v4.5 update tomorrow, June 27. Be the first to get your boots on the Ground!<br><br>Downtime begins at 4am Eastern Time (0800 GMT).</p>— Fortnite (@FortniteGame) <a href="https://twitter.com/FortniteGame/status/1011660606083141632?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">June 26, 2018</a></blockquote>
<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Epic has also confirmed that the Playground LTM will be part of that update.
I think this will be a pretty ground-breaking new mode for Fortnite, potentially becoming nearly as popular as the base game modes. After all, this makes the game less combat-centric, giving more casual players a chance to really get their hands dirty just building. Just like 50 vs 50 gives less skilled players more of a chance to play and win (and practice) Playground will give those same players a chance to improve. It will likely give higher-skilled players a fun palette to make magnificent videos with, also.
That means more of a Minecraft-like experience, where building for the sake of it is prized as much as anything, but it also means that players intimidated by tough opponents in the base game modes will have a chance to brush up their skills and compete. New players, unaccustomed to shooters, will have a chance to familiarize themselves not just with Fortnite but with shooters in general. And those of us who still find aiming rather wonky and unwieldy in this game will be able to practice shooting a bit more.
I've become a much better builder than I was a few months ago, but Playground has me hyped to really hone those skills and practice making more complex buildings rather than just building faster.
This is a limited time mode, meaning it won't be around forever. But the reason for this is that Epic is using all of us as guinea pigs. This is a test run. Eventually I suspect that Playground will become a permanent fixture in this game, if not a third pillar. I'd also like to see a permanent 50 vs 50 mode.
In any case, expect big things tomorrow. We'll have all the coverage---including what happens with that mysterious rocket, and whether or not a brand new building pops up at Tilted Towers---here at Forbes Games.
Oh, and Fortnite earned over $300 million last month. You can read about that here. In fact, 69% of the free-to-play game's playerbase spends money on the game. Crazy.

I agree that Titanfall 2 releasing so close to BF1 ensured that it's sales would get canibalised by BF1. I really liked the whole idea of titanfall but never got around to playing the original. I did get titanfall 2 though and did enjoy it, but the mere fact that it is extremely similar to COD in many respects put me off a bit. As for Respawn's next star wars game, I do have high hopes for it as EA seems to have learnt it's lessons that people aren't okay with lootboxes and cash-grabs, and so will hopefully not inject that stuff in respawn's game. They aren't going to include any lootboxes in bf5 so i dont see why they would put it in respawns game. As for Titanfall 3, I'm sure it's still in production as Respawn has been on a hiring spree of late and must be incubating 2 games at once (star wars and titanfall 3) so don't lose hope yet.

For those that have no clue what cyberpunk 2077 is, here is a trailer they unveiled at E3 this year.

When is the PS5 out ? I wouldn't mind if it's a few years from now because during that time maybe I'd have clocked some hours on my PS4, I always end up buying the latest console when am yet to get the most out of the previous one. This time will hold off even if PS5 comes out next year.
Also, am going to get Fifa 18; I read that there's an update which includes the current World Cup as a mode
