An extension of a debate I was having with a friend...

So to give a bit of background...I live in a country where I earn 3 times the average salary...and in taking some extra work I should be earning 4-5 times as much...

Now i'm under no illusions about the impact this has on my stock partner wise here...

Now the average salary is survival money...so girls are left with three choices:

1 - a guy they like with no money
2 - a guy they like with money
3 - a guy they don't like with lots of money (the oligarchy)

It makes perfect sense to me that two is a legitimate option...and a responsible one...especially for long term dating or settling down...

Money and what it brings is part of the dating experience...whether it be nice restaurants, holidays, private school for future children or gifts...

Others may disagree as my friend does...where he views (2) as buying a woman...is money a legitimate prerequisite for choosing a partner?...and is any different to choosing looks as a prerequisite?...

From my own personal perspective choosing (3) is the shallow choice...while choosing 2 over 1 makes perfect sense...you offer an improvement...

In a country where I can enjoy the finer things and girls can't afford to go halves...I have no problem being judged for the money I have providing that isn't the sole reason...it's sweetening the pot...and thankfully there is enough of (3) to choose from to make that distinction....

But of course some may disagree...

A guy who draws respect from the society (basically who is decent and not a douchebag) and have the potential to earn money to take care of his family and kids. And ofcourse I should like him too.

I found mine 3yrs ago and am really happy the way it's going now.:)

Number 2 is obviously the most ideal option. And it's generally what women prefer going by my psychology studies many years ago :mv

Money is no doubt a legitimate prerequisite, who'd like to live a life full of suffering and poverty ? you need to ensure your family's financial security and be able to provide for your children.

But in the developed world option 1 seems a bit far fetched, there won't be someone with no money at all; but there sure is poverty and folk who are very disadvantaged. Conor Mcgregor's girlfriend remained with him even when he was poor and struggling to get by living on welfare, it's an exception but she had faith in him and things worked out nicely in the end. My point is that not everyone will remain in a poor position because things could get better, everyone has to work their way up so it can also come down to who the girl likes more even though one is working his way up while the other is quiet secure.

I know a girl who married a guy who wasn't rich and the couple were struggling for a number of years, eating things like bread and eggs every day in the dark and could barely afford to pay the bills and rent; the guy had an academic ambition, and the wife sold all her wedding jewellery so he could complete his studies, he's a professor now and they're doing quiet well for themselves.

So it's an interesting one, no.2 is the most ideal option but they could opt to go for someone who isn't that wealthy but they like more and back to come good.

No.3 is probably popular amongst American women, like them models who get with those really wealthy celebs with a big profile.

But am not sure the extent to which women go for no.3 in general. No.2 is probably the most common though.

I'll go with the fourth option. Completely open to interpretations. :moyo2

I'd say this is more common. Good looking girls will get with any ugly guy if he has money. No girl wants to marry a handsome wasteman :butt

Haha doubt you are bro.

Bham is terrible for it. It seems to be cars or those who get tables at clubs, doesn't matter what they look like. Just the other day I was filling up the car in the shell garage in town when I looked over and some girl was staring constantly. So I asked if everything is ok and she replied, nice car. I replied, if you work hard enough one day you might get be able to buy one yourself instead of wanting to drive this one. Funny thing is it wasn't even my car :))

lol you get a lot of those types, I can imagine you like this:

lmao like the plot twist of your story at the end. And a lot of guys don't seem to mind those types either and their personalities tend to mesh well, the stuff you see reflects well in the modern rap scene to :yk2

lol, seen a few of them. The twist at the end is for show, the guy in reality would have taken her. Rich guys seem to revel in the fact a girl pays them attention because of their money but a lot of them end up lonely because they have little else to show.

Lol that background music is the blatant copy of Usher's song-Yeah. Why they make it so obvious?

Money and looks is what makes up your outer confidence. It is there temporarily, with time you might lose both and you may attract girls who are pulled to either of the 2 with zero connection.

Inner confidence is what makes the man. That you are at ease with yourself and have a high level of self worth and sufficiency, aka, are fully independent and can fully express yourself directly without supplication from others. You can be a $7 an hour employee at McDonalds looking average and be pulling girls with a high level of inner confidence. They'll be attracted to you and your personality and not your physical property.
