What's new

The Official PP Landmark Thread

I am finally joining 40K club. :dav

This is my post #40000.
Wow Congrats. It's crazy to see how people have thousands of posts to their names when I have been on this platform for more than a decade and not even crossed 1000 lol. Althought to be fair I have been mostly a silent reader and only just started participating but even now it gets tiresome to keep up with discussions and reply back and forth when you have a busy life outside of this forum.

You like to watch and not get involved in the action.

Thanks.

I am here since 2009 or 2010 but really started to post from 2019 World Cup.

I was a lurker like you before.

Part of the 60,000 posts club.

Who knows, there’s still something left in the tank. :yk

Took me little less than 2 months to make another 1000.

Are we talking about a resurgence here?

Here’s to all the individuals who’ve tried to get me out of PP over the years. Guess who’s still here and standing strong?

you look at these old time threads and you feel sad where have the old timers gone.

Indeed.

Many of the old and established posters are gone. Oxy, Slog, AZ, Syed1, Robert etc.

I also had 2 real life friends here. They no longer post.

This is a new era for PP I guess. New generation. Transition phase.

At the peak of my powers i accumulated 40k posts in 2 years. Still one of the freakiest streak in PP history. :akhtar

freelance_cricketer , whatta guy yar

And now after all these years , scripting arguably the greatest come back ever

I remember there were some posters who were really prolific in the beginning .

@Sledger

@Aman was there ,

My dear fellow posters,

I’ve crossed 9,950 posts over the past 5 years! That averages out to approximately 1,990 per year, 165.83 per month, 5.45 per day, 0.23 per hour, and 0.0038 per minute.

How do you all think I’ve performed so far?

Any suggestions or improvements you’d like to see in me?

Most importantly, do you want me continue with the same zeal and enthusiasm?

Yours truly,
Rajdeep.

I remember Sledger. Was a very active poster.

That era was PakPassion was truly awesome. There were less bhakts too. :inti

Aman still posts here but not as regular as before.
Sledger probably had best strike rate here , he would have easily have crossed 200 K posts , if he was active right now.

Another one I remember is @Mr Consistent , though he did not have too many posts , he was getting them at a very very fast pace.
@Mamoon also is a very prolific poster. Soon he will be second highest posts here.

Mamoon stopped posting. Not sure if he can become #2 now. Maybe you will become #2. :inti

Some posters start with a bang at high strike rates , but its not easy to maintain that , we get busy in our daily lives.
Everyone follows their own paths.

That is why among so many posters , very few have crossed 100 000 . If I am not mistaken only four have crossed that.
I think @Rana is closest active poster , who probably will be the next one.

Ultimately, what truly matters is the quality, not the quantity :sachin

This is my post #46500. :inti

I have also overtaken KingUsama92. I am now at #19 in terms of total post count on PP forum.

🏏 Bhaijaan Contemplates Retirement at 69,000 Posts. Says "The Last Time Is Now."

In what can only be described as the approaching end of a golden chapter in the history of PakPassion.net, the legendary user Bhaijaan is reportedly contemplating retirement — just shy of reaching the milestone of 69,000 posts.

The Player of the Tournament of the inaugural edition of PPCL, Currently standing at 67,900 posts, Bhaijaan is not just a prolific poster, but a pillar of the community, known for his wit, passion, deep cricketing insights, and firm (yet fair) takes on matters both on and off the pitch.

For nearly two decades, his digital presence has been felt across countless match threads, heated debates, and historic cricketing moments. Whether you agreed with him or not, you always read him. And most likely, you responded too.
🗨️ “I never thought I’d make it this far… but 69,000 feels like the right number to bow out on. The last time is now!” Bhaijaan is said to have told a few close followers, with his trademark smiley in tow. 😊

Fans of the forum are already expressing disbelief — and perhaps mild denial — at the possibility of a post-PakPassion era without its most enduring voice. A countdown has unofficially begun, with many hoping he’ll reconsider and stay on t go past 75k posts at least if not the coveted 100k mark.
