edit ur post so people cant see njamals email address...you quoted it so now everybody can see it...so edit post and remove the quote from it so he can get rid of it too

Quick ,enlighten me with some Pushto words like,stupid,idiot, bewafa, donkey, monkey. ASAP.

I'm annoyed at a Pushto friend for a minor reason and I need Pushto 'insults' to give her so that she gets a real 'feel' about it.

Stupid : Khrey for female and Khar for male (Actually it means donkey).

Bewafa: Bewafa

Monkey: Shadoo or Beezoo
 
what do these word mean?

Wrora (same as wror?)
wawrae
duagani
wokai
gorai
lara
stasu wror
yer ye na kae

and are my assumtions correct?

ta = your
aw = also
che = thing
wakhhy = look
mu = us or you

wrora = brother
wawrae - i dont no if u mean ice or listen
duagani - prayers
gorai - look
lara - gone(female) or the way
stasu wror - your brother

mu-mung
wakkhy - ugora

rest are right though

I don't get what 'mung' and 'ugora' are supposed to be?

mu was used in this sense:
aw allah di mu da

I hope you don't mind if I ask some more:

Garmy = new?
da = is this an article or is it used as the proposition 'of'?
abada = 'abadat' in urdu, meaning to pray?
gorai che yer ye na kae = look thing .....?
kawi = do?
wa da = ?
bachia = ?
ba sook = with pleasure?
hum dagha duaagani rata kawa = word to word translation please as you already told duaagani = prayer what about the rest?

Sadly Google can't translate from Pashto yet.

ba sook - think u mite be trying to say da ba sook - i get <b>who</b> from it anyways...
hum dagha duaagani rata kawa - wish me well basically...like pray that i do well( used in tht context)

How easy it is to understand or speak Pushto for Persian speakers?

I'm assuming Persian speakers would able able pick up Pushto more easily and quickly than...lets say Punjabi or Sindhi speakers...am I right?

Just a random question...

Don't think so. There is nothing common between Farsi and Pashto. IMO it will be same for Persian speaking as for Punjabi speaking.

Oh ok...

Some Afghans can be fluent in both Farsi and Pashto, so I was thinking maybe they're pretty similar languages.

Its same as some pashtoons fluent n urdu and pashto or a punjabi fluent in urdu and panjabi.
Also it can be because of parents from diff tribe. May be a father is pashtoon and mother is persian and vice versa

Well as a Punjabi speaker (not a fluent one at all), I can say that everyday Urdu language is so so similar to everyday basic Punjabi, its just a matter of twisting and turning the pronunciations. So I was wondering if Farsi and Pushto share such link. But I guess there isn't.

No there isnt,its just two diff languages spoken in same country. I can also speak pashto,urdu and even english fluently but all these are totaly diff languages.

iv noticed this too

normally its the pukhtoons that can speak both farsi and pashto

many of the pashtun singers sing in both languages...shafiq mureed,farhad darya,latif nangarhari



isnt pashto a an indo-iranian language? so it could be similar but not really... i can understand farsi just cant speak it lol...
