When one streak ends, another begins. India beat Pakistan 13 times in a row in World Cup matches before Babar, Rizwan, Shaheen, and the rest, destroyed India and broke the streak.

I predict that this was a thrashing from which there is no easy return for India. Worst of all, unlike the thrashing they received during the 'Aaney Do' series, most of their players are young and will likely be around for several years. This defeat will live with them for the rest of their careers.

For now, it is Pakistan - 1, India 0.

Nope. While today was an absolute mauling, I do not think this Indian team is the kind which will be cowed down by this. India got thrashed by Australia for just 36 in a much tougher format - Test cricket and bounced back - same in England.

I predict India to actually make a comeback in this World Cup.

That's not the definition of "streak, buddy. Streak just means when you lose several games in a row, so if Pakistan wins the next 3 wc match ups against India then it would be a 4-0 streak since India last won against Pak in a WC.

The definition of a streak is that it should be repetitive in nature. Atleast two consecutive wins are required to form a "streak".

The focus should be on creating a good atmosphere between fans and players of both teams.

Encouragement is needed to resume bilateral cricket, but I agree, that if Pakistan can continue this streak, it will only incentivize BCCI to host a series.

Pakistan and India have played 200 matches(all formats).Pakistan won 87,India won 70.The numerous of tied/drawn matches is 43.Pakistan lost match in WCs because the batting let us down.The bowlers performed well in most matches.The batting used to collapse even though India didn’t have a potent bowling attack.

Pakistan is unlikely to win against India in an ODI World Cup for the foreseeable future. If the 2027 World Cup is indeed the last ODI World Cup, then India could maintain this streak in ODI WC indefinitely.

Sorry mate, but no Indian cares about bilateral series ans Sharjah cups that happened back in the 20th century. Pakistan has always bottled it against India in the biggest matches, during the digital era where the entire world's eyeballs are at you
