The worst fielder in international cricket?

Rahat "Puppyface" Ali and Lasith "IPL Superstar Uncle" Malinga come to mind.

He took a pretty sensational catch in that Haier T20 cup. Must have thought it was a hamburglar or something.

Tanvir, Malinga, Herath, Rahat, Mishra, Ishant and Irfan are all pretty poor fielders. Whichever of them is having bad day is the worst fielder from Asia.

South Africa, New Zealand, England and Australia do not have any poor fielders.

Amla bhai was dropping catch like hot potatoes against India. He should probably get the tag from SA

He was also taking a lot of catches before that game, of course you won't mention it. Everyone drops catches from time to time, especially when in the slips. That doesn't make one a poor fielder.
 
From India, Varun Aaron is probably the worst I have seen since Munaf Patel. Sohail Tanveer and Irfan too are equally bad.
 
Muhammad Irfan, Sohail Tanvir, Rahat Ali, Junaid Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, and Nasir Jamshed.

Cannot remember if any other team has such poor fielders - even Bangladesh fielders are head and shoulder above this lot.

In matches of fine margins - all of the ones mentioned have cost us matches with their fielding alone and I am not even talking about dropping catches here.
 
I dunno worst catcher I have seen in history is Kamran Akmal. He is a class of his own.

In overall fielding I would say it is Sunil Narine. He is as hopeless as they get and maybe the legend Rafat.
 
2 names come to mind (both retired). Kaneria who looked like a baby giraffe running and sehwag who got injured celebrating a wicket :))) :))) :))). That moment will forever be etched in my memory.

Al Amin is probably the worst fielder in the world, drops catches every match, costs us at least 20 runs in the field. Mashrafee is too slow in the field, people can take advantage of his slow running and reflexes. Mohammed Mithun is plain rubbish. These three needs to improve their fielding or should consider retiring. Too old anyways.

Sharjeel is slow but takes good catches and is very good at stopping shots near point. Which is surprising since you don't expect a guy like him to get into position quick.

Irfan is the worst BY FAR.

I cannot remember the game but I remember it was a few years ago 2014/2015 where india got a wicket and he was jumping and trying to high five someone and he landed awkwardly on his ankle and limped off the filed :))) :)))
 
Mohammad Irfan, Monty Panesar, Ashish Nehra and Taskin Ahmed ( Not bad but hilarious girly mannerisms)
 
At one point we had Irfan, Sohail Tanvir and Kamran Akmal all playing in the same XI. This right here surely would be the worst combination of players to ever field in any given match. A keeper who can't catch to save his life, a giant who cant:

(a) Run
(b) Field
(c) Catch
(d) Stretch
(e) Jump
(f) Hop
(g) dive

and the less said about the Pindi Phenom, the better - Although he did have a bullet arm that would return quick throws to the keep - but whatever; let's just say I don't like Tanvir very much, makes my blood boil whenever he takes the field.

Ravi Ashwin is the worst fielder out of the big teams currently.
 
What about Thisara Perera? :shakib

His epic drop in the virtual QF is still fresh in my mind. Just imagine if he had caught that Lanka would be in the Semis.
