Time to play T20 World Cups in countries other than Big 3?

The title is self explanatory. Should ICC be looking at hosting T20 WCs in Malaysia, USA, Canada, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Pakistan, New Zealand, West Indies, South Africa etc?

We all know that it isn't the most viable option to host ODI WCs in these countries, so logically ICC should be targeting T20 WCs in these countries.

Also, is it logistically possible to host a T20 WC in 2 countries? Like if a T20 WC is hosted in US then it would be shared between USA and Canada, but would it be logistically possible?

Who should be hosting the following T20 WCs then?

2024 - ?
2026 - ?
2028 - ?
2030 - ?
2032 - ?
2034 - ?

T20 World Cup in 2026 and 2030 only in the 2023-2031 ICC rights cycle.

Initially the Champions Trophy used to be played in the developing countries for Cricket. 1998 was in Bangladesh and 2000 was in Kenya.

ICC is proposing T20 Champions Cup in 2024 and 2028 on the lines of discarded Champions Trophy and T20 World Cups in 2026 and 2030.

I hope the proposal gets rejected. As it is T20 is a Short format so there is no need to divide T20s into Champions Cup and World Cup. Let there be only one ICC T20 WC held every two years, like in 2024, 2026, 2028, 2030.

A T20 WC can be alloted exclusively to Pakistan, NZ, even Afghanistan ( Considering the country is peaceful enough ) or any other smaller countries provided they have enough stadiums and people to fill the stadiums. This will rule out Saudi, Qatar where there is shortage of stadiums and enthusiastic crowds. UAE is a good option for holding Asia Cups but it might not be the most exciting place to hold the tournament considering the low bounce and slow paced wickets.

Canada-USA can be a good option with huge South Asian population in the countries also holding the tournament in North America will raise the profile of the Sport.

Among the Test playing Nations, Pakistan and NZ are the only two teams who are yet to hold a T20 WC so with Cricket slowly returning to Pakistan its a big probability that Pakistan will be granted hosting rights for one T20 WC in the upcoming decade unless the security situation worsens.

When was the last time a large tournament was held in South Africa or Sri Lanka? Other than Pakistan, it would be nice to see some WC’s beings q played there.

World T20 should be held in South Africa or West Indies after 2021 World T20.

South Africa has some gorgeous stadiums.
