So, as the tournament reaches its final leg, what are your opinions on who have been the top players so far? And who do you think will go away with POT at the end of it all?

I personally believe its a competition between Ronchi, Kamran and Faheem.

In terms of younger/non capped players, I think Talat, Asif and Butt have impressed, as have the 2 teenagers Hassan and Shaheen.

I'd like to see at least 2 of them get into the national ODI/T20 side and Sohaib Maqsood to have a more regular presence.

Zaman has been terrific but he hasnt been as consistent as Ronchi or Kamal. Babar HAS got to be there ahead of Sanga as well.

Watson is a good shout, possibly for POT too because he has picked up useful wickets along the way. Also, wish Patel had more chances, but when he has bowled, he has picked up wickets or stopped runs.

Zaman has done a lot for LQ. Without him, they would collapse to less than a 100 every game.
Babar has scored a lot of runs but they haven't helped his team. Rather hindered them, as he scores too slow and plays for his 50's far too often.

IIRC Watson was the player of the tournament in IPL 2008. And looks like the player of the tournament here after 10 years. Never thought he had it in him after his retirement from international cricket.

That's not true. His SRs (for his best scores) have been in the range of 120-140, of his 4 50 or more scores, one led to a win and one to a super over. Babar did not force KK to lose that match. And in the other two games, if Babar had not gotten those scores KK would not even have been competitive. He is so underrated on here.

I watched the games and my perception is otherwise. Obviously, no one is denying he has scored runs. He has 300+. But it's the old excuse of "he was holding together an innings from collapse" when in fact he was stalling it. He scores his first 35 runs quickly but than he slows down to get a run-a-ball 50 and gets OUT immediately afterwards. That 15 run garrison harms the team.

Asif Ali
That's the guy Pakistan desperately needs in lower middle order

Luke Ronchi, Hussain Talat, Faheem Ashraf and Usman Khan have had good tournaments as has Asif Ali.

Shane Watson is one of the most underrated players of this generation.

Watson, Ronchi and Wahab are the 3 most standout players in PSL3.

I thought I'd put together a little list, so -

Best batsmen

Ronchi
Kamran
Babar
Watson
Zaman

Best bowlers

Shinwari
Ashraf
Sami
Riaz
Patel

I should add in a fielding list too, as its such an integral part of any t20 game these days.

Anwar Ali
Shadab Khan
Hassan Khan

Ronchi,Fakhar,Shinwari and Faheem are the top performers in this PSL.

Hussain Talat,Shaheen,Ibtisam,Sameen and Asif Ali have also impressed

Wahab riaz has been the best bowler by far in this tournament. He bowled with pace, bowled so well in death overs, picked wickets regularly in middle overs. Best pacer by far.
In batting Luke ronchi is the best batsman fakhar has been good and Hussain talat batted well too.

Sohaib Maqsood played a few great knocks, would love to see him gets some more run with the national side

Foreigners:

Best Batsman: Luke Ronchi

Best Bowler: Imran Tahir

Best Player Overall: Shane Watson

PSL 3...

Talat
Asif
Shaheen

(Agha Salman did well for LQ, but he is a saad nasim type of player, good for domestics, unless he vastly improves)

Rest.... thank you for coming, try again...

Asif Ali
Brilliant fielder

Yeah he has done really well. I honestly with Anwar Ali has been the standout but I just wanted a list hehe

One great knock, another ok one and rubbish otherwise BUT I like his ability to strike so no problem with him getting a shot in Paks middle order.

Pretty much, but I dunno if I'd call Tahir a foreigner lol

Many players have already been mentioned but I have also been impressed by Sameen Gul and Umaid Asif.
