Too many attackers imo, what defensive midfielders do you have?
 
^That's actually one that I was considering with:

Weise
Clichy, Topal, Abidal
F Melo
Empty Slot, Lavezzi
VDV
Robinho, Walcott, Klose

But that renders Clichy useless as neither of the defenders can be used as WBs.

Is there a formation that works like 4-1-3-1-1, kind of like this:

Weise
Clichy, Topal, Abidal, Isla/O'Shea
F Melo
EmptySlot, VDV, Lavezzi
Robinho
Walcott

Then bench would be: Hangeland, Klose, Downing, Obi Mikel, and Kalou

I would recommend you playing a 4-2-3-1

With the attackers you have you are better off having 2 defensive midfielders or you can get away with just the 1 if you have someone who can play as a CM (think Modric, Xavi, Pirlo etc) BUT your players are very attack minded. Also I would not trust your defenders playing 3 at the back

It should be the following formation

--------------------------Weise-----------------------------

Isla/O'Shea-----Hangeland-------Abidal---------Clichy

--------------------Mikel--------Melo-----------------------

----Walcott/Lavezzi------VDV---------Robinho--------

-------------------------Klose/Lavezzi---------------------

That's interesting, but there isn't really anyone who can pass that well, except VDV so what would be the point of the striker up front? I kind of also wanted to Walcott up front as the sole striker, which I could do.

But doesn't that make my team really limited in terms of offense? I'm planning on acquiring a midfielder in the free market.
 
Disappointed that F_C didn't reply to my offer for Rafael even after he visited this thread. Was hoping to receive an answer by today so I can finalise my targets before the opening of the transfer window tomorrow.
 
My team is solid... yound keeper (sirigu), strong defence(smalling, kaboul), strong midfield(reyes, lass, cazorla), strong attack(torres, cardozo, ruud), ... unbeatable :)

I don't think so, the 3 guys behind the striker can do the supply. I personally would not play Walcott as a lone striker, though if you wanted to then you can play him in strike and have Lavezzi play wide right

Hmm, yeah I guess it could work but Robinho isn't so great doing the supply. Let's see how the transfers go tomorrow, and then I'll make a decision.
