I looked, sadly none of them are better than Gomes

I have a big talent in Stegen as backup, will look to introduce him by the end of the season with a view to fully taking the Number 1 spot

or I might try some Sheikh-esque bids in the next window :yk

The dilemma I have is that ideally I would like to play Ronaldo on the left behind the striker BUT that is where I want Iniesta to play, decisions, decisions, decisions . . . . . .

Stegen is amazing from the start I would play him instead of Gomez. But yeah like Saj says it is a top team.

I think Ronaldo should be left back........left back in the changing room...:kami....then when he becomes disgruntled - you can selll him to me at a snip.....................

Could possibly be interested in El Arabi.....mainly for the merchandising opportunities in the middle East......but at the moment really looking for an experienced creaking old sweeper perhaps with dodgy knees.................but doesn't have a twitter account

It seems like he has already joined - according to him and I can't blame him!
Yep he is very raw and very quick. He's only played 1 part season for us in the Championship. Not sure how he will develop....currently more of defensive midfielder but he's only 18 and has pace - so could go out wide or more attacking or move back into defence. Too early to say.

I would be very surprised if he goes straight into your first team. More likely will spend a year out on loan at least.....maybe back to us or more likely a Championship team.
 
We released a lot of reserve players this summer and we are reportedly after a few youngsters to strengthen the reserves, if he is signed then it will be for the reserves to begin with, a loan move back to Coventry would make sense, much better off playing competitive games in League 1 than in the reserves for us
 
People calling him the next Essien and he is that kind of player at present but far too early to say after 20 odd games whether he will remain in that position long term.

I'd use Stegan as a starter over Gomes. He develops unbelievably quickly in FM 2012.

Once he's developed, complete beast.
