One of the great left-arm pacers. Wonderful to see him regain his mojo after struggling a bit post injury.

Rabada is better.
Boult is like Philander.
In tests only. In odis, latter isnt fit to tie the shoe-lace of former.
Wagner doesn't swing the ball... he bangs it in..I saw a thread about Wagner after his 7ferNa.. this is one of those NZ wickets that assists the swing bowlers in the first morning of first day and it will become a flat road after that. Don't rule England making 600 runs in the 2nd innings. Has happened in NZ many times.

Boult is like Philander.
Why are you insulting Boult by comparing him to a Philander who's a non-entiy in LOI? Boult is a potential ATG in the making. A test specialist lile Philander isn't fit to be Boult's waterboy
Legend.
Far superior ODI bowler than anyone produced by England, India and Bangladesh.

babajee , Boult is garbage eh ? Outperforming our attack in there own conditions) topspin
Brilliant swing bowler.
But, Amir at his best is better. I hope he can find his swing again.
Amir is not better in any format. 2010 is long gone dude.

Incredible spell of swing bowling today to take 6 off 15 balls and get NZ a good lead.
I had my doubts of him running through a team, but he showed he's capable today.
Remarkable ability to swing the ball in all conditions. Truly the most skilled left-arm pacer since Wasim, and the most skilled overall since Anderson.
That would be Johnson

Now number one in ODIs now, dethroning Bumrah.
absolutely great bowler. But very conditions specific. Great exponent of swing conditions. Not impressive in sub continent or in bouncy wickets for some strange reason however a great bowler no doubt.

He has success in sub continent. I remember he bowled well Vs Pakistan in UAE last time in NZ series win there.
oh did he? was a weaker pakistan side no?
Ah well he performed anyway so good for him.
He had no success in India though. Limited.
He did bowl well in Lanka.
Definitely.
Superb young cricketer. Love watching him bowl.
NZ will be a quality team in future. Boult & Williamson are destined to be greats of the game.
Bumrah is better, infact much better just give him some time.

He is remarkably similar to Mohammad Amir.
Similar pace, similar height, similar method, similar results.
Interestingly, they both have a similar Achilles heel too: when they get to Australia they are neither tall enough nor quick enough to thrive. Boult's Aussie figures are completely distorted by a pink ball greentop extravaganza at Adelaide.
3/30 in 4 in the IPL 2020 final - bad news for Pakistan soon![]()

Has Trent Boult declined post 2019 World Cup?
He was NZ's best bowler in past decade but has been poor since then, also Southee, Wagner and Jamieson all have done better than him since then.
