I feel like the next world cup is Pakistan's last shot at being contenders at a world cup, after that team Pakistan might be a minnow team like the West Indies for the rest of the 2020s

If I were a Pakistan fan, I'd be hoping for all the TTFs to be brought back for the 2019 World Cup for one last hurrah, inevitably get smashed and use that as an opportunity to purge the team and start a clean slate.

Also the media lobbies need to focus on Pakistan first and not their own states.. Ex players should not be bitter all the time and help and praise the deserving players and not just their favourites..

Expectations should be realistic, and whenever we lost to India in ICC tournament, the preparation for next World Cup starts rofl. It happened so many times its actually funny. Pakistan cricket is at the bottom of test playing nations, and many years behind. Forced Isolation by India, less international matches have'nt helped either. Even a greatest administrator can't turn things around.
The only thing I can predict by next World Cup not many Pakistanis would be watching it. Pakistani cricket team only purpose for ICC tournament is Indian viewership only. For the gratification of indian viewers to beat Pakistan the country more than the cricket team which is below Bangladesh.
