Anyone suggesting Azam Khan for a super over with a straight face needs to reevaluate their understanding of the game. Getting maximum runs from an over is as much about being able to run 2s and 3s as it is hitting boundaries. The obsession with boundaries is what cost us in the 2022 final, with our players getting out trying to clear the MCG boundaries instead of getting 10 an over by just running like Australia do.

Azam Khan can barely run singles, and with his current form I certainly wouldn’t trust him to hit boundaries either
