I have always find it concerning that scientists use animals (mice, rat, rabbit etc.) for lab experiments. I feel there has to be a better way.

What other ways can experiments be done?

The only better way is testing on humans which I don't think anyone would approve of. Been done in the past and treated as war crimes.

Don’t think there is any other practical alternative for this.

Not sure if it's true but there were some reports published where suspected terrorism prisoners in Guantanamo Bay were administered with new drugs for testing purposes. So these suspects were actually treated as guinea pigs in a lab.

Perhaps convicted savage killers and convicted pedophiles and convicted rapists in the prisons can be used as lab rats? worse come to worse, they will die, who cares?

I thought about writing this.

I would have no issue using someone like Brenton Tarrant as a lab experiment subject.

So you want unit 731 version 2.0?

Let me know how it ends because version 1.0 yielded disastrous results.

I would rather see a pedophile or a serial killer suffer than a poor animal.

Are you saying animals don't have feelings?

I asked a question in my previous post.

Are you implying people should start Shiro isshi version 2.0?

You asked Colorblind Genius. Not me.

To answer your question, No. I don't want version 2.0. I simply want to see animals being spared.

Use prisoners? Child molesters? Aliens?

Perhaps in future computer simulation could be used. Wild guess.

as we know rats are only animals used in trials because they are genetically and biologically similar to humans. Apes are another due to similar human DNA but they don’t reproduce as quickly as rats.

Another alternative is directly test at a cellular level but as you can see requires very complicated technology which we don’t have yet I believe.
