Tbh its mostly Pak players that are obsessed with India. Let it be umpteen statements from Razzaq, Miandad, Akhtar or statements like linking rapes with bollywood, how Indian captains used to be scared going out for toss with me etc.

What Sehwag said is just a harmless banter infront of those.

The amount of talk from previous Indian players and media in general about Pakistan says otherwise.

Gambhir is another cringy man who uses Afridis name to stay relevant.

You would think Sehwag would have learned his lesson after it backfired during Champions Trophy. Lol.

I think this is a sub continent issue. It is in our blood to look down on each other.

We cant draw the line where jokes become offensive.

Shoaib Akhtar has been humiliated a few times by Indian anchors who have taunted him to his face whenever India has trashed Pakistan. When Asia trashed Pakistan in the Asia Cup in 2018, an Indian anchor asked Wasim "Do you feel that the CT win was a fluke?", and he responded "You have every right to feel that way".

When all the ex and current Indian Cricketers were taking digs against Pakistan after Pulwama, our Pakistani players were desperately begging for peace or shamelessly silent. Miandad and Latif were the only real patriots who spoke back to the Indians.

Once remember when Sehwag, Ganguly Tendulkar were all commentating together where they were all throwing praises at each other for their batting records and contributions for the country until they discussed running between the wickets and Sehwag mocked Ganguly that he was a terrible runner between the wickets.

Lol, Ganguly's facial expressions changed so rapidly as if he wanted to kill Sehwag and commented you think I scored all these runs just by hitting fours and sixes? Don't mislead the viewers

He gets away with his behaviour and conduct because no one aggressively responds to him
