Not far off from Lolong the largest ever croc in captivity (bit over one ton/20 ft). Monsta! Crocs are so awesome.

It's pretty old and frail by the looks of it. Amazing creature hope they look after it.

That's where it has been living all these years champ. So what's the problem

the only problem is that another town will now capture it again when it comes near their town or it'll eat livestock or god forbid a child and it'll get killed.

there are plenty of non connected lakes in the wild life reserves.

it seems the croc ended up in the village cos the river flooded. maybe if the croc sticks to the river it'll be okay.

Yeah it would have been great if it could have been released into a wildlife reserve but I'm glad that they didn't just kill it. It was apparently stuck in a canal leading off the Nilwala river in Matara. Are there any wildlife reserves around that area. From what I could make out they say it's around 60 years old.
