[VIDEO] "It certainly wasn't home advantage" : Eoin Morgan

I like Morgan as a player, but I do have to say he's such a sore loser and every England defeat has pathetic excuses.

Not the first time he's blamed the conditions, and it won't be the last.

Morgan moved on from it but it seems some posters still stuck in 2017 here to prove Morgan sore loser.

From today's press conference

Q. Are you surprised by the pitches in this World Cup?

EOIN MORGAN: Not so much with the weather that we've had the last week or so. It's obviously been a challenge. There was a lot of rain around last night. The wicket this morning was soft. I think it was an advantage to win the toss. That is what you want to do, but the wicket was soft, and obviously it was challenging for Australia.

Q. Presuming there's no mileage at all in complaining about that or worrying about that, you just have to get on with it?
EOIN MORGAN: No, whether it's today, tomorrow, next week, during the semifinals, whenever it happens, the wickets are going to be slow, low, they will wear. That's the way -- the nature of ICC events.

Bump

Cannot play on dry pitch
Cannot play on Supporting wicket

May be you are not Good enough dear Morgan

Timely bump.

I have no doubt about his talent or his team's ability just that I don't like whiny folks.

Mental midgets. Plus a team of average bowlers who cant bowl even in overcast swinging conditions.

If they don't back their team to put up a decent score in English conditions (something they should be more familiar with) and defend it , then you have to stop chest-thumping about how you can get to 500 runs. 3 times opted to field first. Lost all 3 times.

I kept telling Morgan is such a dreadful captain (tactically) during the Pak series. He missed out on very simple tactics. Their only goal is just to "outbat" the opposition by scoring big or chasing with power hitters. His field placing during Pak series, bowling changes were all goddamn awful. They are so used to giving big totals to the opposition. They can't go back now. They don't know how to operate as a unit and sustain pressure. Bowlers don't bowl two balls in a row at the same place. They are just all over. Credit to Archer who is only 24 managed to do some damage with his bowling. Imagine this side without Archer lol Would have been an epic failure
