What's the problem? 34 is young. Just ask Hafeez :ashwin

Assume they are referring to this guy: http://www.espncricinfo.com/pakistan/content/player/1159495.html

Will see if I can find his PCB profile.

Farhat comes across as a nice chap have moved in the middle order and seems to be a good mentor for young players encouraging them unlike someone like Faisal Iqbal who would go out of the way to demote young batsmen so they do not outshine him

Looks a decent bowler doesn't he from the clips.

Definitely a bit of Dale Steyn in his bowling action.

Don’t we have enough of these phast bowlers?

Where are the 150 clicks bowlers gone??

Now we have Pakistani Shane Bond (Naseem Shah) and Pakistani Dale Steyn.

Lovely action just looks to be a bit on the 84-87mph side.

Guy looks good.

Mainly inswingers but looks fairly sharp too.

Does Inzi go regularly to watch domestic matches?

Seems to have a solid repeatable action. If he can up his pace and has a good inswinger too, could be potentally a Pak player in the future.

Man... Imran Farhat is looking slim these days. Got rid of the double chin.

Time to come out of international retirement and open with Hafeez? :farhat

Im hoping your being sarcastic..I say we get Mudasser to pad up..he could last a few sessions aginst todays bowling..

The last two deliveries were pretty top notch...got some swing and seam..fawad is no mug in domestic and he was on the front foot.

2 wickets so far for HBL in the QeA final vs SNGPL

He stops during his release, which cuts his pace down but gives his bowling direction and accuracy.

Why has Khurram bowled only 5.3 overs in second innings of QEA final ?

Has he got injured ?

It was a huge game and a big oppurtunity for him to impress selectors.

With slight improvement in use of non bowling arm and strengthening bowling muscles he can gain 5 - 8 kph pace which would polish him into a Test quality fast medium pacer.

It's NCA's job now.

Took a wicket off the first ball of his T20 debut on behalf of Balochistan, wicket of Ali Imran

Let's Talk about Khurram Shazad

As we are desperately short of even half decent right arm pacers, this guy has something. His pace is decent somewhere in the region 84-85mph and has a nice action. I can't tell much about his seam because of the poor quality of the cameras but he did beat Hafeez with out swinger.

Nothing special

He’s extracting great bounce and looks like Fakhar, Hafeez, and Malik are finding it impossible to play him.

Not that they’re fantastic batsmen, but he’s doing quite decently for a domestic nobody.

Ahmed Bashir is very very average. As I said looking at the other overhyped bowlers like Ammad Butt, Ehsan Adil etc, he has something

Butt is an all-rounder - certainly no worse as a bowler than Faheem Ashraf and much better than Faheem with the bat. That’s why he’s hyped.

I don't see any future for him as either bowler or an all rounder. In county parlance he is an 80mph gentle swing bowler.

Akif can be a decent red ball prospect, can swing the ball both ways and bowls around 140 kph. He just needs bowling discipline to match his talent. He has only played 1 FC match so with guidance and experience he has a chance.

After 20 games his FC averages are 12 & 33, unfortunately in wrong order ......... & he is 26, officially.

But based on what I have seen today he looks to be someone thar PK could invest in. Its not as we have lots of options, on the tour to England we have had Sohail and Imran, both guys probably not far from 40.

It’s T20 bro - never trust this game. This is actually not cricket (just another sports that uses crickets rules & gears) hence someone like Dilbar can shine without touching a red ball in two years.

Decent day with 1/20 for him in 4 overs against KPK. Probably will get oppurtunities in QAE as well.

I have always liked this guy grt action..i think pace is okish but he would be world class if had more

Very impressive but I feel that we seem to ignore these bowlers for far too long and then they are past sell by dates

Yes definitely can be the case. Would be really difficult for him to take his career to the next level at 26 years of age with not much behind unless he keeps delivering big time across the formats for next couple of years or gets an oppurtunity in PSL to come into limelight.

Seems to have gained some pace.
But he needs to stop stepping wider of the crease in his final gather. Instead, should take a step to the right like his idol steyn.

But David Warner developed his game at the higher level by starting off from the T20 game. I agree that they need to play Red ball cricket.

4/11 vs KP for Balochistan in Quaid-e-Azam Trophy

Khurram Shahzad - promising young fast bowler for Quetta Gladiators

He took a career-best 3/14 today.

It's the first I've seen of him but he appears to be a good death bowler and possesses a couple of raw attributes for him to progress in both white ball and first-class cricket.

He played for Balochistan in 4-day cricket during the recent QEA trophy, where he took 18 wickets at an average of 27 with one five wicket haul. So it's not someone plucked out of obscurity and thrust directly into T20 cricket.

Last 3 matches:

4-26-2
3-14-3
4-22-1

Intelligent bowler, not just someone who runs in and turns him arm over.

Certainly got a bit of Dale Steyn about him with how he bowls. Just can be expensive at times.

Any idea of his average speed?

It is rare sight these days to see a Pakistani bowler reading the batsman and then bowling accordingly.

My first sighting of this boy today and I am impressed. Looks strong, quick and hits the deck pretty hard. Seemed to be bowling a good line as well with decent control.
