So started his journey from the much maligned PJL

And today playing his first PSL game took the wicket of Colin Munro (got hit for a six but came back to get his wicket)

That's why age should be ignored and they play because they are good enough. Nearly every guy is at least 3-4 years older than stated. I have no doubt that people SSA and Naseem are in the mid 20s and Shadab I know for a fact is 28.

I agree, I was talking about the national team when there is clamour for young players who in reality aren't that young, except on paper. But this issue is very old and nothing is going to be done. I remember as far back as 1991, when Zahid Fazal claimed he was 18, and the late John Woodcock described him as looking like Tendulkars( who was the "same age") grandad.

Age fudgers will pretend to be 12 but actually 16 lets say in the u12 teams. They will outshine the genuine 12 year who would have more potential than the 16 year old pretending to be 12.

So the age fudger progresses and develops into a mediocre player when expectations increase.

The action is for inswing but he can get it to go away. That is a real talent, a talent that few have

The thing about age faking is that in PK it works, you get to stand out against real 18/19 yr players and that leads to big money. Its the uselessness of the PCB that is the problem.

He did increase his pace since his PJL outing , seam position is good as well as his action favors in swing but he somehow bowls out swing instead so this is again something unique let’s see how develops in next two years

Not impressed. When you're this young and raw, some aspect of your bowling has to stand-out. With Zeeshan Zameer the pace and swing was there. Even if there wasn't much control to go with it. This kid does not have anything that stands-out for me.

Wickets were not impressive. Economy still meh but will give him time before making further judgement. Speed looks good though. High 130s in the clip and can probably crank it up a little.
