It's Fawad today, Shafiq earlier and will be someone else in the future. None of our batsmen are good enough to take it to the opposition. We are obedient folks, and cater to opposition requirements adequately.
 
Completely irrelevant but i hope Naseem gets another go in the next test. The pitch here in Christchurch will suit him.
 
yasir shah should not play the next match. We have kept fawad alam out for 12 years for many others , its time to give zafar gohar a chance. Yasir has been failing in sena for a while now.
 
Another day another moral victory for Pakistan. Time for misbah to count the positives from this match and then utter his usual ********.

I mean we took it to 5th day and that hasn’t been done in New Zealand in a while. #moralvictory :)))
 
As usual, some folks whinging about umpire's call. Luck evens out. I dont remember anyone complaining about Nichills being not out. :srini

Beamer? It was below waist height. That's called a full toss. As for the LBW, I don't like the decision but umpire's call is out. You win some you lose some. Stop throwing your toys out of the pram
 
we need to understand that our team is weak and bringing the match down to the last session today was kind of a success in itself when we look at our team. We are not going to be a top 3 team again , need to keep our expectations low.

80% of the ball was inside the line. I didnt hear anything from you when the same umpire gave Rizwan not out and it was plumb.

There was no beamer ether it was below the waist and if one full toss is enough for you to think bad sportmenship then i dont know what to tell you friend.

I think NZ deserved the luck. They were by far the better team until the last day, they snatched it right at the end. Stats at the end of day 4 suggested a 90% NZ.
 
Moral victories is all we've got now. Another decade of this mediocrity and we will not be invited for overseas tests anymore and will only be playing Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan.

NZ were heavy favourite at the start of the day draw was heavy favourite at tea but then again this is Pakistan we should’ve gone for it what will draws do we need wins.

Half the ball clearly hit in line, according to the bloke with the best view AND the technology... It looked out live, it was smashing off stump halfway up...
 
Such an exciting Test match, and here I am having to follow the scorecard instead of watching the action.
 
Naseem has to be the worst no 11 in history, even Chris Martin looks like Bradman when you compare with Naseem
 
Pakistan are not done yet. NZ don't have a paceman that can run through tailenders with speed.

In a fair world you actually have to play out the full game according to the rules & earn your result, not scamper off because it gets hard.

The light is good. Sunset is 9pm in NZ summer. There is blue skies. It's a bit weak looking for light excuses when I see blue sky in every tv angle...
 
Well played Shaheen - gave his everything in this Test. Still might save the game with a bot of luck.
 
What Misbah, Waqar and Co don't reliase is what they're doing now is planting the seed for the future. Took them a decade to get rid of Shafiq, taking them years to understand how poor Azhar and Yasir have been and they're hogging two most important positions in the team. It is a free ride. And injustice considering mis-representation of the best national players in a sport.
